I just found out that the teens with have their own spa on the Dream.

question to everyone...has anyone heard how the private cabanas on Castaway Cay are? I'm thinking of renting one for my family, but if there set back away from everything...I'm not sure.

Hi Everyone! We're just back from two glorious weeks in Europe! We spent 3 days in London and just debarked the Magic yesterday from the 12-night Baltic sailing! Other than being extremely hot every day (record breaking heat in most ports!), we had a fabulous time and would love to go back! Experiencing the "White Nights" was amazing ~ still light outside at midnight ~ only got dusky in the wee morning hours since the sun rose again around 3:45am! It was very, very weird to do Pirate Night in daylight!!!

Catching up on the DIS boards (and laundry) today.

The FE list has not changed since we left, other than still having to twist castlegazer's arm to join in on the fun! Just think of ALL the fun surprises that would be awaiting you! And, the exercise you'll get from walking all over the ship to deliver your gifts will offset eating all those wonderful meals and snacks every day! You could even spread out your deliveries by just doing a few decks each day.

Hi everyone!!! I just booked this cruise last night--booking finally opened up for DS age group. I can see why it was so difficult seeing all of the tweens so far on this cruise meet LOL!!! We are a family of 3--DH Mark, me, and DS12 Jacob. We would love to do a meet and greet and most likely FE. We're going to Universal for 2 nights before the cruise.

Oh yeah---I haven't told DS yet, not sure when I will either. He was the one who pretty much decided we could not do the 4/14 sailing we were originally booked on b/c he didn't want to miss 3 days of school . He was pretty disappointed when we couldn't book the 4 night (which falls during his spring vacation).

We're doing US/IoA from the 14th-16th, then heading over to Cocoa Beach for the day and night on the 16th.

Are either of you staying in one of the Universal hotels? Have they released their rates yet? We want to go to US/IOA for the 2 nights after the cruise. We decided to just spend the money and stay in one of their hotels for the free front of the line pass, instead of paying for it x's 5. I just checked the website and the dates I entered are not available. I think they said August. But this is aggravating.

I have been keeping a list for myself. Here is what I have:

Please correct me, if i am wrong; also, feel free to copy and paste and add yourself up to the list.
This is the first time for us b2b; it will be easier to figure it out together!

Is it cheaper to do a b2b? I don't think I could do a 7 day cruise, but a 4-day b2b might be something I could handle.

I had a funny dream about the cruise last night!

I dreamt that we were on the ship as it was pulling out of Port Canaveral. I realized I didn't have any nice crayons to help my DS color. So I jumped overboard so I could go to the store (same store that is near my house here in MA, go figure). It took me awhile to get to the store, and after I got the crayons, it occured to me that I had no way to get back on the ship! Uh oh. The ship was going to be docking in Miami, so I needed to get to Miami. I woke up before my dilemma was solved.

Lesson learned from the dream, if I don't have crayons, tough luck. I will not jump overboard.

No rates yet but you can bet they'll be high being a holiday week--at least that's what it looks like according to this year's rates. The waiting does stink. You can book the rooms with last years rates and they will adjust when the new rates come out. We're staying there anyways--FOTL is totally worth it IMO.

The idea of cabanas is great! Last time we were there they didn't have them. I would like to hear some info on it too...

I have been checking reviews on Disney Europe cruises and they are all great! I am glad to hear you had great time. We are from Russia, and we have heard about "white nights" a lot (and there are songs about it too ) but we have never had a chance to experience it. May be one day....

Lesson learned from the dream, if I don't have crayons, tough luck. I will not jump overboard.

Another lesson: if you forget crayons, ask you friends from Disboards! I will try to remember to pack them just for you!

Is it cheaper to do a b2b? I don't think I could do a 7 day cruise, but a 4-day b2b might be something I could handle.

It is not cheaper (unless part of your b2b is prior or just after the "hottest" week of the spring, which appears to be 4/17-4/24/11), but when we did 4 days cruise it went too fast . We like 7 days better but it is not offered on Dream for 04/11. Our friends booked b2b for the same reason. We picked 4/14 in addition to 4/17 instead of 4/17+4/21 bs it is significantly cheaper; however, the price to pay = missing days of school (I am praying our DD's teacher is just as understanding as her previous teachers who provided all HW and CW prior to our vacation )
