April 13, 2013 - Western Caribbean Fantasy Cruise

We are scheduled to be on the Fantasy on 4/13. We were originally scheduled to be on the Fantasy on 2/16/13 but had to make a late switch to April because of a conflict. Didn't know if there were any openings in the FE as we are coming in late. Looking forward to getting away from this snow!

Question to those of you who have been on the Fantasy before, or even the Dream for that matter. We have a stateroom on Deck 10. I was wondering just how much noise will we hear from the deck above us? I am getting conflicting reports from everything I read. Some say it's terrible with the cleaning of the pool, deck and furniture, while others say they didn't hear a thing. Any opinions? Last thing we need is our kids up at 5am everyday. Thanks!!!!

We heard no noise at all being on that deck. We had cabin 10042. Great spot very convenient

FE is made and gifts are finally done, door magnets are completed.
Now it is time to get things packed, making sure we have everything we need without over packing!!
31 days for us and it can't come soon enough! Can't wait to turn off all phones & no computers and just relax. Been so long, not sure if I remember how to do that!!!

This is the first DCL Cruise that that I've been on that the posters spend more time on Facebook then the cruise thread. It's been a learning curve for me as I'm not a Facebook person.

We just booked this week. We have two kids a son who will be 15 and a daughter who will be 13. Anyone going these ages? Daughter has been on Dream before and loved making friends prior to leaving, son has never been on a cruise.

We have DD who just turned13. DS is 8. She's a dancer and into crafts.

Hi everyone,
Since our friends at home depot have discontinued the lime green mickey heads, we have come up with a new way to help find one another. We have a great graphic for our shirts posted earlier in the threads and we have created a business card size laminated tag that can be attched to your lanyards. If you wish to have the tags please post or PM me your last name cabin number and how many tags you will need for your family. The picture is posted on FB but I don't know how to post photos here. Can't wait to see everyone soon.

So, this is our 6th cruise (Gold!) and we are looking for a FE list. We have never done it before because we didn't know about it...

My family does not have little kids anymore, but we are all kids at heart.. My husband (John) and I (Ann) are in one cabin 2552 and my son Kenny (19), his friend Dalton (19 ) and my daughter Chloe' (17) senior graduating in a couple months, are in cabin 2535.

We are looking forward to another cruise! 6th time on Disney, but first time on the Fantasy. We have sailed the Bahamas, Carribean, Mexican Riviera, Meditteranean, and Alaska with the mouse. We are big time DVC members and love Disney! Looking forward to meeting new friends, that is always the most fun!
