I got my cruise docs today!!!! I was so excited! If I am not using Disney transfers from MCO do I need to use the luggage tags and fill out the pages in the little booklet?

I think I just may say hello to my luggage tomorrow!!!! I can't believe how fast this month has gone by...Pretty soon guys...woooohooooo!!!!!

Not sure, but I think you do not fill out the transfer ticket from the little booklet and you put the luggage tags on after the flight and before you check it in at the port so they know which stateroom to deliver it to.

Got mine today, finally--I was feeling left out, after seeing them I don't know why! Anyway it just keeps getting closer, and now that I shopped this weekend I have to check over my clothing one more time!

It clearly is not the content but the meaning behind the package
that makes it so special. I have been trying to do inventory of my
belongings and I am going to have to start packing because I do not
think I am going to have enough luggage!! The dilema!!

My 8 year old can't wait for our "meet". I showed her how many
girls her age were going to be on the cruise and she is more
excited than ever to meet and make some new BFF's.

You have to use the luggage tags because you will be leaving your luggage with them to bring to your room later. But keep a carry on bag with you with all your paperwork, passports, any valuables and meds and also you probably want to pack swimsuits and sunscreen and hats and such in it because it could be several hours before you get your luggage. In that time you may want to go swimming and you will be having lunch and exploring the ship.

And meeting up with all of us!

I have 5 suitcases spread out in my family room! Sorry DD8 hasn't written back to yours. Things have been crazy busy here. I will try to find time this week.

Well we have the early seating , we had the choice but was'nt sure if we'd get it when we booked our cruise back in may of last year, all our documents say early so I'm figuring that's it...

We have late dining and I was waitlisted for early. After talking with DH and the kids and the planning part, we decided to stick with late and I removed us from the waitlist.

We're late seating too. We're wait listed for early and I hope we get it. My kids are used to going to bed at 8, not eating dinner then. But, it was the only way we could get our room.

I was thinking that if worse came to worst we would feed the kids early (from a buffet or room svc? not sure, but I think you can get food anytime you want, right?) then put the kids in their jammies and send them to the Oceaneer's Club. Then dh and I will have a late dinner. I'm trying not to worry about it too much.

I can't believe how many people from this board will be on that cruise!

Aww..that makes me glad I dropped the waitlist. My DD and DS are older and we don't usually get to dinner until about 7pm at our house, so maybe we improved your chances!

there are quite a few princesses around age 8
on this cruise. Too bad my little princess will have to
go down to the smaller age group in the clubs. She is
not happy about that.

Welcome! If your DD is really close to 8 you may request to "move her up". I wouldn't tell her ( just in case she'd be disappointed), but it might be worth the asking.

YEA!!! Another DISer! If you think your DD can handle it in the other group definitely ask. From what I understand they can be a bit flexible. How close is she to turning 8 ?

I found some great pirate stuff at Ben Franklin crafts today! Including a Pirate Flag for my scooter!

Oh, did I mention to you all that I will be the crazy lady trying to run you over in my new scooter? You all won't be able to miss me! (but hopefully I will miss you! )

My youngest DD6 (almost 7) will be in the clubs and
was wondering who her age was going to be there since
my older DD8 knows there are so many her age. We
will have to get them together!

DD will be 8 in August. So, about 4 months
short. Think they would let that slide?
I guess it doesn't hurt to ask. If not, I'm sure
she will have a great time in the younger group
as well. At least she will have Lolita's DD to
hang out with!

What is everyone doing in Nassau and at CC?
We are doing Atlantis, via the room across the
street at Comfort Suites/Inn... whichever one it
is that has the full access. At CC, we will probably
just hang out and play on the family beach. Nothing
scheduled.

DH and DD12 are going to go on the Catamaran Snorkling excursion in Nassau and that is all we have scheduled. We will probably try to snorkle in CC also.

Kayla and I have signed up to do the Palo Brunch also. Not sure if our husbands are going to join us or not. They can't decide if they want to have to dress up!

Welcome to all the new people - glad to have you join us! And thanks Patsal for organizing us and listing all our kids' ages - looks like they'll have lots of new buddies to meet!

We're at the late seating - we did early on our last cruise and felt we were always racing back to the ship at the end of the day and rushing to have showers and get ready for dinner. It just wasn't relaxing at all. Our son is a bit older now too and while bedtime is usually 8:30-9:00, he can handle a few later nights with no problems.

For shore excursions we're doing Atlantis AquaAdventure (I think it's called) and then cycling/snorkling/tubing on CC.

On Nassau we are going to the Pirate Muesum and then just hanging on the ship

and on CC we are gonna just play on floats and snorkel and enjoy the beach

we so just want a relaxing no pressure vacation.
