No docs this way...why is Disney torturing me so?

My mom is making our FE (a Lightning McQueen themed one for DS)...I have a question though. Are the FE goodies for everyone in the cabin, or just for the kids? I'm confused. We are in either way, I just need clarification.

oatmealdiva- I'm so glad we arn't the only family from California. We are in Norcal though not Socal, still nice to have more then one family for each state.

TBRox- Yes, we are all very relieved. I began to worry they may have forgotten about us! haha Never would disney do that!

Cruising fun- Yay! go deck six! It's the same deck we had on our previos cruise, but god only knows the last room number, we had. No one in our family can remember.

Any update yet on the number for the FE? Has the number changed at all?
Great question oatmealdiva I dont think we really ever discussed it. I'm new to this whole FE thing so someone else can answer on how they usualy do that.

Amy - Do what works for you! I haven't decided exactly what I am doing yet. I think the FE is more for the kids, but in reading trip reports, some folks have left things for everyone in the cabin. I've read about adults with no kids participating in FE's...don't know if we have any on this trip joining in though. (They can if they want too!) Hey, we east coasters are easy...west coast sand in a bag is cool to us!!!! We've never been that far west but we hope to someday get to LA!! I have a SIL who lives there.

Princess Row and Cruising fun - we are deck 6 too. We were thrilled to be put there.

Here's hoping that everyone will be doing the doc dance tomorrow!!!!

Ohhh ... sorry to hear you won't be joining us all on the Magic - but hopefully your husband has some other great surprises in store for you on your anniversary! Hope it's all you're wishing for!

We currently have a total of 9 families/cabins and 18 kids. I still need room numbers for PPFQP and oatmealdiva. If anyone else wants to join in, please let us know by the 27th. I've never done the FE thing before but I would think you could leave either gifts for the kids or for the cabin. I think it is kind of whatever you want it to be. Just something for you and the kids to look forward to when you come back to the cabin. I'm just so excited to be apart of it. I love Disney, I love Cruising and I can't wait to take my first Disney cruise!!

It just dawned on me today that DD will know how to spell all the words in her word scramble scavenger hunt, except maybe the word "cruise"! So tonight at bedtime I gave her a little spelling test and asked her to spell the names of a bunch of her toys...Legos, Playmobil, Blocks, Barbie Cruise Ship She doesn't know how to spell cruise! Oh no!

Yes, that is true! But how do I do that without seeming incredibly obvious?!

I did drill her on the correct spelling a couple times last night so maybe that will stick. If not, we'll just help her a little bit. I bet she won't forget to spell it after the scavenger hunt - LOL!

Hi Freddyfishstix - (formerly of Chesapeake?) - Our friends cruising with us said that she has to pick up her docs from AAA. I don't think she has received hers either. I will double check and let you know. Hope they come in today!

And, yes we used to live in Chesapeake, Va in the Great Bridge area from 2000-03. My in DILs are still there. Only 26 days hard to beleive.

I think they do have to go to your TA first. I'm sure you will get them soon. Have you called your TA? They might have them sitting on their desk.

Regardless of the Doc dance, you are going on the cruise!! That's just paper! Print out the cruise contract, promise to be nice on the ship and you are good to go!!!!!!!!! We'll all be doing the doc dance at the sail away party!!!!! Am I right?
