There really is no standard protocol for the FE. It's up to you. On our last cruise we gave out gifts 3 out of the 4 nights. I went way overboard. This time we will probably only do 1 or 2 nights. I want to spend a little less time handing stuff out. You live and learn. But I loved doing it and we appreciate everything we receive. Do whatever you feel like doing.

Thank you! I gave out something every day of our last 7 night cruise. Kinda exhausting on excursion days. I think I will do 1 bigger one this time being it's a shorter cruise. Maybe 2, my kids LOVED going door to door looking for the FE's to fill for our group.

Hello everyone! My mom and I are so excited for this cruise and being apart of the fish extender gift exchange!! This is our first disney cruise, we are celebrating my 30th birthday which will be on April 12th!! Is anyone decorating their stateroom door??

Hi!! This is our first Disney cruise and we are super excited to be part of this group! I will be traveling with my DH,DS 10 & DD 6 at time of cruise. Would love to get added to the list and FB page (if there is one). Can't wait for this cruise!! Any tips are much appreciated too!!

Hi everyone, just booked and I am so excited. There are five of us. Dh and I will be celebrating our 10 th anniversary a month early on board, ( to many end of school activities to go in May). I have three kids going with us, boy 9, two girls 5 and 3. We will doing Disney before and after. I just booked at cocoa beach Hampton the night of tenth. We decided to rent a car instead of doing Disney transportation because we wanted to get there earlier. I think on Friday after cruise we will hit Legoland. My son loves his Legos. I know will spend Friday night through Tuesday at Disney but don't know where. We will also spend one night before the cruise on that Saturday night in Disney. i think we might stay at art of animation or animal Kingdom Lodge since we will have a car. I just bought annual passes because we leave for Disney in 53 days to celebrate my daughter's Third birthday. I am so excited. Look forward to hearing everybody's plans.

Yay, neighbors!! Waiting to add fav characters for the other family members. My MIL and FIL have their own cabin - do you think they are too old to have their own FE? I thought I would set them up, but wasn't sure. Thoughts??? My nephews and I would do their delivering

You an never be too old for anything as far as I am concerned. I know a lot of people talk about making FE gifts but we would be happy with whatever we get. The fun is seeing what everyone leaves, like Christmas. We are making a few gifts since my daughter loves to craft. I am even making my own magnets. I printed out pictures from some of the pages here that have them for free and I then got a laminator and strip magnets. They are on my frig and ready to go. I am even making some as FE gifts.

I also might be looking for some company at a brunch, if I can get into one since we sign up last as first time cruisers. I am still trying to get my daughter(9) to go to the kids club while we do this but she is not that out going and does not like to be someplace without us and not knowing anyone.
