This will mine, my husbands and youngest sons second Disney cruise. But it is my other 4 kids and mother in laws first time! I'm so excited about the FE's and meet new people. Our first trip, it was just 3 of us, so we got to sit with another family. I think this time we are too big to sit with other at the meals, lol.

Welcome @ladyred92 Make sure to add your families info to the spreadsheet for the FE's. Another cruiser posted it and we have been adding our names to it so we know who is participating and basic info for FE gifts

This will be our first ever cruise and we are so excited. It will be me, my DH and my DD(9). I have my countdown on my phone and look at it everyday. I will add myself to the list. My daughter would love to do this.

Hello, everyone! I was in the April 18th thread but our school changed our vacation to a week earlier so I'll be here planning with you all! This will be our secondDisney cruise…we went on the Magic out of NYC in 2012. I've always wanted to go on the Dream though, and I am so excited! My traveling companions are my Dear Mom, and my DS14 (at that time), and DD12 (at that time). I think we are planning on doing Atlantis in the Bahamas. We did the Blue Lagoon dolphin meet last time and want to try something different. I am not sure about doing any excursions on CC. Personally I'd just like to lay and soak up the sun! We shall see what the kids have to say about that!

We are DVC members and will be staying at BLT for 3 nights prior to the cruise and 2 nights after. Anyone else doing a Land & Sea?

Hey! @buzzrelly! We are DVC members too but are going to be doing a few days in Cape Canaveral since our kids have never seen the Kennedy Space Center before. We have done Atlantis a few times, and the kids love all the water play areas and slides. I know its a bit pricey but lots of fun!

Hey Buzzrelly...We are doing Disney after and staying at Bay Lake after for a few days. We can't wait...Less then 11 months

Kennedy Space Center is on my list of places to see someday too! I love my DVC membership and love planning all of our future trips!

one question...on our last cruise some that participated did FE gifts daily and others did one gift - what's the standard protocol?

There really is no standard protocol for the FE. It's up to you. On our last cruise we gave out gifts 3 out of the 4 nights. I went way overboard. This time we will probably only do 1 or 2 nights. I want to spend a little less time handing stuff out. You live and learn. But I loved doing it and we appreciate everything we receive. Do whatever you feel like doing.

We loved the BL Dolphin Meet!I would be happy to do it again but DD really wants to do Atlantis. And I bet the Dolphin swim is even better! I'm going to have to look for our pics from that day and post them. They were so cute! Are you taking Disney transportation to the cruise?

We have it booked, but people have advised against it because it gets us to the port really late. I may look into other options. We used Tony Hinds this past year from MCO, I may ask if he goes to Port Canaveral and see how much it costs.

Hello everyone! My mom and I are so excited for this cruise and being apart of the fish extender gift exchange!! This is our first disney cruise, we are celebrating my 30th birthday which will be on April 12th!! Is anyone decorating their stateroom door??
