Yes, you can do this![]()
I applied for both for Spring 2010 with the mindset that I'll have a better chance of getting in that way...if I got rejected for one, there's still a chance I'd be accepted for the other. I ended up being accepted for both(WDW: housekeeping, DL: custodial) and chose WDW since that was my first choice anyways. Good luck!
Thank you for your quick response. If I was granted a phone interview for the WDW, should I called that same number and schedule one for DLR or do I need to the whole process from the beginning and then if I am granted a phone interview call? Can you offer your experience on how you did it?
Thank you so much!!
You'll have to watch the Disneyland presentation online because you'll get a different confirmation number/email for that one, but your information will pretty much be mostly filled out and you won't have to re-do the web interview. After you watch that video it should just have you call the number to schedule the interview assuming you already passed the one for WDW
I applied for both as well for Spring 2010 and was just accepted for both (WDW: BBB Hostess, DL: Entertainment Costuming). As I'm a Film Arts Major with a focus on Costuming AND I've already been a BBB Hostess, I've opted for DL.
I also applied for the PIs, but I believe I've been passed on for those, but I'm tooo excited about the opportunity to return to SoCal that I don't care!![]()
OMG! That is incredible! Have you done WDW or DL before? I watched the e-presentation for DL and called to schedule an interview but they said I needed to apply again. So now I am going to do my application for DL. I already have an interview for next week with WDW. I really hope I get in. I have become obsessed researching for the interview. I feel like it's taking forever. I can't imagine when the waiting time to find out starts.
Yes, I was a BBB Hostess in Fall 07 (Castle Opening Team), so I'm certain that was a large determinant in me getting accepted for D-land which is a lot more competitive due to the void of openings. (It probably doesn't hurt that I'm a professional costumer either.)
That is awesome!!! You are right D-Land seems more competitive. Even the application is way different than the one from WDW! The WDW application was really simple. It's so cool that you are a professional costumer. Thank you for your help! Hope you have an amazing time at the program.
Ok I was accepted to WDW, but I'm still waiting to hear from DL. I have until 11/11 to accept the invitation. Of course I'm going to accept if I still don't get an answer from DL yet...but what if DL accepts me after I've accepted and paid the assessment fee for WDW. Can I deny WDW after I've already "accepted" it? I know the assessment fee is non-refundable, so I'll deal with that. I just don't wanna have to deny DL just b/c I'm already locked into WDW. DL is my first choice, for personal reasons.
