We have gone to WDW five times since DD was born and three times in the last year, and I finally figured out that its much easier to rent than schlep my own stroller to WDW. I had rented from both WDW and another company in the past, but was looking for a better deal. Then I found Apple Stroller while looking for my dad a scooter to reserve for himself. The online form was easy to complete, both the stroller and the scooter were waiting on us when we arrived at the Contemporary.

I loved the city Mini Elite. It handles so easily, has amazing storage, lies flat for DD to take a nap, and the best part was the sunshade that covered her from top to bottom. The ease of folding and carrying was a big plus as well. We were lucky enough to get in on the free rental promo BEFORE they instituted the pick-up/drop off fee, so it was crazy cheap. Stroller was clean and tagged and waiting when we checked in at the CR, with rain cover and parent tray that I had requested.

I needed to extend an hour or two on our rental the first time, and another day on the second occasion. Again, one call took care of all of that, easy peasy. We dropped the stroller off at bell services at our resort on the way out to catch the Magical Express home. I will definitely be going this route for our future trips.

How did you request the rain cover? Did that cost extra?

I was wondering about the delivery fee. I thought it was free. But I just reserved mine this morning for our trip in 2 weeks, and was charged $10 for delivery/pick-up.

I asked when I reserved. I rented twice this year, in September I think I paid $5 extra for the cover and console. In December, it was a last minute trip, so I only got the cover, the console wasn't available. However, I brought my own Sunshine Kids Buggy Buddy tray that velcroes on and it fit perfectly.

Yes, in the beginning they didn't charge at all for the delivery. I had reserved in January for our September trip and got grandfathered in on that deal. But even with the $10 fee in December it was still the cheapest option for our four day trip.

Happy to find another happy customer! We rented in November and plan on renting again for our next trip in December!
We loved the Citi Mini Double and we had great service when a front wheel picked up some stray debris - we called Apple and were met at our location 25 minutes later for a repair. :cool1:
We rented the rain cover, but never used it (even with rain showers) as the canopy was quite large and our 2 and 4 year old wanted to try without it.
Initially we found mixed reviews, but so glad we gave them a chance!:yay:

I just reserved a stroller with Apple, but didn't reserve the additional options. I think I will call and add the rain cover, but what is the "parent tray", do I need that?

I would like to know when Apple rentals is going to stop spamming the DIS boards with fake ids advertising their services?

Hi All.... this is late. But I just made a reservation with Apple Strollers. They no longer have any accessories for their strollers (so no cup holders or rain covers). :sad2: anyone have any suggestions????

Some of the replys here "may" be spam IDs (most are the 1st post) but I think the OP is a real DISer as she has over 3000 posts. I know I have seen other reviews for this company that clearly came from fake IDs, I think this one is real. Thanks OP for your review!

We used Apple Strollers in March and were very happy with them. For the price, they were great. We had issues with the stroller, the wheel kept locking, so I emailed and they brought us a new stroller within 2 hours. Great customer service.

We are using them this week and the stroller was not here on time, which was really aggravating as we had to head to the park for a reservation and I didn't have time for them to fix it and drop one off. It came several hours later. Not thrilled.

I used them on my last trip and plan on using them again this fall. Didn't know there was a drop off/pick up fee now. That kind of stinks. I'll have to look into the pricing and see if it's still a good deal.

Well I think I have enough posts here to assure some I don't work for apple. We have used them twice and using them a third time in August. Very happy with their product and service and no other company can come close to their price.

I didn't see the delivery/pickup fee amount listed on the site. Is it a total of $10? I think it's still going to be more affordable to go with them. Plus our stroller was very, very clean last time.

A number of posters have admitted that Apple asked them to post reviews here.

It is a total of $10. I looked up our rental agreement for our August trip and for 7 days a double citi mini with insurance comes to $62 with all taxes and fees. No other offsite rental company can beat that price. For our two rental times our strollers were also immaculate.

We used Apple for our trip in May 2013 and were very happy with them. The stroller had some leftover debris (Goldfish, etc) and they brought a new one to the front gate of the MK for us. They have never asked me to post a review, either. I am bummed to hear about rain covers no longer being an option. We had one in 2013 that we used a ton and were planning to rent from Apple again for our trip this November but I think we'll have to go with a different company to get a rain cover.

I wasn't asked to post a review either. I was just very happy with our rental.
The rain cover was super important for our Sept. trip but I'm not worried about having one for our Nov. trip ... maybe that's foolish thinking?

I've used them twice, mixup the first time but quickly fixed it. Used them for stroller and scooter both times. Best prices around too. Not having to deal with pickup or drop off was nice they were just there!
