Apple Scooter

I am looking into a scooter rental for DM. Apple Scooter looks like the cheapest...has anyone used them?

We have not yet had any reports from people who have used them.

I have done some checking and according to the domain registration they are a subsidiary of a company in Connecticutt. And the address they give on their web site is a multi-story office building in the heart of downtown Orlando, so this is probably just a mail drop address.

The companies that are listed in Post #2 of the disABILITIES FAQs (click on the link in my signature) are ones that people on this board have used and know.

This is not to say they are not a good company, but was have no history for them as we do for the ones listed. If you do decide to rent from them please report back to us about quality of their equipment and service.

I have always used Randy's Mobility. At $180/wk for the regular size scooter and $200 a week for the larger size for us pooh sized people, they are very reasonable, friendly, and their customer service was fantastic. I got stuck with one that quit during Fay and they came immediately and gave me another one.

No one has posted about using them, so we don't have anything to report one way or another.
