Enjoyed a restaurant meal of apple-glazed pork loin recently. The glaze had little pieces of apple in it too.

Is something like this available on the market? Or will I need to make it myself? I searched our grocery store that carries all kinds of stuff, but no luck. I looked where glazes are kept in the condiment aisle. With the jellies & marmalades. And with the applesauce products. Even near the meat because sometimes they put things there.

If you make one, what's your favorite recipe? So many when you google.

Was looking at a recipe today for pork loin with an apple glaze - and it was a can of apple pie filling..

Sorry - I threw the recipe in the trash already because no one in my family cares for pork loin..

I've used apple pie filling, otherwise known as apple compote for my pork chops, apples & stuffing recipe. :thumbsup2

The glaze you had might have been made with a jar of apple preserves. There are usually bits & pieces in preserves.
