APH Rate Question

We're staying at PBH in September under an annual passholder rate, planning to arrive early Saturday morning. It's my understanding that although the room may not be ready, you can at least check in that early to get your room keys - and thus Universal Express privileges - before heading to the parks.

I ordered and received my Preferred Annual Pass, but it's not activated yet.

Question: Do you need an activated annual pass to check into PBH at the annual passholder rate, or do they just look at the pass to see that you have one in your name and that the name matches the reservation?

I'd rather not have to make an extra stop in the park to activate the pass before checking in, if I don't have to.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

No you don't have to activate it, they might ask you to just stop by when you get back from the parks to show it to them there. Our first trip that is what we did at RPH, I had the pass and was told just to bring it back by that night.

Great - that's what I needed to know. Thank you!
