AP Voucher expiry date?

AFAIK, there is no expiration date on the AP voucher.

However, when I was about to buy it, the CM told me that AP should be activated 3 months after the purchase date.

Is this a new policy?

I have never heard of this before. My sister bought hers months ago (well before Christmas) and they aren't planning on going to the world til the end of Sept.

Best advice you will ever get about Disney:

Don't believe everything that a Disney CM tells you.

The CM is w-r-o-n-g.

I am planning on purchasing our AP's one at a time and we will not be going down till next Dec. I would hate to have them expire before that.

Did you speak with a CM at TDS? I haven't heard of this before ... My understanding is that you can buy them and keep them until you're ready to activate it. You should ask a different CM to see what they have to say.

Ask to see a voucher before you buy. If there is no expiration date, then it does not expire. Disney still honors park tickets that were sold 30 years ago, and an AP voucher is nothing more than a "ticket" entitling you to an AP.

well, the problem is I live in Canada. The only way to get AP is by pre-purchasing the item. Disney store doesn't carry AP any more.

As usual, Canadians get the (much) shorter end of the stick.
