Has anyone been getting renewal notices for the APs in the mail? I know a few friends that have NOT been getting them up here in the frozen north;)

Also, what IS the policy on renewals if they are NOT sending out notices? I know the price used to be a bit cheaper if you renewed during a 30 day window. My APs expire on March 30 and I am coming down on April 17. Does that qualify for the 30 day window they used to honor or is it only 30 days before the pass expires?

is where I am at & I have gotten my renewal notice. I got it sometime in Sept & my expiration date was Oct.13th. I want to say you need to renew by the anniversary date to get the discount. I don't think they still horor 30 days after. Your best bet is to call AP Guest Services. That way you can just renew directly thru them during the phone call. No matter what day you renew, the anniversary date will be the date that it is activated.....not the date you actually go thru the turnstiles. Hope this helps

A Mickeyfan is right....you must renew before your anniv. date, not after.

Is this something new? I thought that when you renew by your anniversary date, then the anniversary date stays the same? Or is that just if you do it in person and not by mail?

I know when I renew my AP in person down in WDW, the anniversary date stays the same; it doesn't change to an earlier or later date. Are you saying that if I renew my AP by mail, say a month earlier, then my anniversary date changes to a month earlier?

If you renew a month early your anniversity date will stay the same. I renewed my last PAP 7 days after the experation date and got the renewal price, the CM there told me I could renew up to 30 days after. I did this in April 2002.

You got lucky Sean, I thought I could do that myself a few years ago, but was told I need to renew before my anniv. date to get the discount.....and I did not get it. :(
When in doubt about anything with Disney, call them and ask.

I have done this the last few years and my ex roomate did also. If one CM tells you you had to renew before the expiration date go to a different one, I bet if you try a few CM's you will get one who will give you the renewal date after the pass expires.

Yes, twice I too renewed my AP just days after it expired, and I was able to renew at the renewal price. I was told that my anniversary date would have to stay the same, and not be later (because I renewed later.)if I wanted the renewal price.

It really depends on the CM you get. They have hired many new ones recently, and I really don't think they know what they are doing! :):):)
