AP Renewal Special $109

I haven't seen or heard anything about the extra three months other than here. I also checked on AAA's web site to see if they have it & they do not list it either. Mine expire in Oct. I am going to call tomorrrow to renew instead of waiting to go up next weekend. When I call, I am going to ask them for the extra three months. AAA is advertising Disney's extra 3 months now for all new and renewal AP's, PAP's and Seasonal AP's.. for residents and non residents, but like I said, nothing on UO's extra 3 months. Oh, and yes, the regular renewal price listed on AAA's site is $109

At the store near me, they sell the $99.00 season passes but I haven't seen any others.

maybe it is just an Orlando thing.. by me they don't have them. They do have the Bush Gdns Fun Card...but it isn't a card on a rack. You must go to the customer service and ask them for it behind the counter. ... I really doubt that they would see AP's in Publix.. especially on a rack.

Could be...If I go this weekend, I'll see what I can find out.

We renewed out APs in July for 12 months. When I go back in September I'm going to ask about the 15 month and if they were offering it at the time they will get an a$$ chewing.

when i renewed last year in late august, that promo was going on.
renew the pap and get 3 more months free.

a long story but my ap is good thru april '10.

i'm thinking of renewing this month and get the year and another 3 months on to it.

july '11 sounds like a sweet deal to me.

Update us and let us know if you got the extra 3 months like we did! I've also seen the AP vouchers at Publix years ago. They were for the power passes. I'm not local, but we shop at Publix on a regular basis when we're there. I've not seen any recently, but also haven't been looking either.

I just got off the phone with the AP Pass renewal hotline and renewed my pass.... 12 months. There is no 3 months free program running right now as per TM that dealt with me. She said several people were calling asking her for that promo and she was sure it was not running. I had asked her to "search" maybe it was there and she hadn't seen it yet.. so, at least to this TM's knowledge, it is not running right now. I only got the normal 12 months. It ran me $117.14 (think that is what the change was) with tax. So it is $109.95, their standard renewal rate...no special promo's right now. If anyone else hears different, then great for them.. and I will stop at Guest Services while there next weekend for my "free" 3 months to be added on. Until then.....I have the standard Preferred Annual Pass renewal....

but hey.. where can you get a year of fun with no black outs for that price....:thumbsup2

I understand. I'm glad I read it on the boards recently which encouraged me to ask about the 15 month renewal. I guess you never know unless you ask. I figured they could only tell me no, but luckily they told me yes.

Exactly when was "recently"... because they told me today it was not running.. so maybe it was and no longer is  I did tell TM that a "friend" got it and she said they could not have

....... so if it is out there, I am going to Guest Services next Sat to ask for my 3 months...:goodvibes I did just renew less than 30 minutes ago over the phone

I called US AP office on August 4th (3+ weeks ago). Both of our Preferred APs were ready to expire in October 2009 (late). I wanted to renew before the price went up (this was a couple of days after Disney raised their prices). I asked the rep what the current price was for the PAP renewal and told $109 ($117 after taxes). Then I asked the rep if the renewal was for 12 or 15 months. Then the quiet pause......he then said, it depends what type of pass I was renewing. I told him my pass was a TWO-year pass (preferred AP). (I got it 2 years ago on a BOGO promotion). He then said, yes, that pass is renewal for 15 months. So I paid for 2 passes to be renewed and instead of an October 2010 expiration, both now have a January 2011 expiration. Of course, being a skeptic, I logged onto the AP site for each of us and checked my expiration date and both have the date of January 2011 (which I printed from the website). I would not have even asked, but recently saw that another poster had renewed and gotten the 15 month offer too. Maybe I got in a the tail end of the promotion....:confused3

I have the same pass you have with the same renewal month, October!. i got mine with the BOGO in 2007. I told TM what I had and she said that there was no such promo on now.. maybe you did get the tail end of it.. I may just call back again tomorrow :confused3 especially since you said there was a silence...

i'll call on sept 1 and see if that promo is available then.

i was going to call and renew this month but it looks like no specials going on for the ap holders.

once i call, i'll pass on here what i was told.

I just sent them off an email. I was going to call again today but I forgot and now it is after 6pm

This reminds me of last year when one poster had gotten a great rate on Blue Man Group with his AP. I called them 3 times and they swore that there was no such great rate. When I arrived at Universal I went to the BMG ticket window and asked there. Lo and behold, of course there was a great AP rate for Blue Man Group.

nothing for September.. I spoke to them Yesterday. In fact, they called me :lmao: they were responding to my email to assure me that there were no extra 3 months added onto a renewal. The TM I spoke to was really nice and we joked about Disney. I told her that I knew it wasn't Disney & wasn't confusing them. So I guess I will be happy with my 12 months, like I said, for that price, it is still an awesome deal.. watch next year with HP opening up, that is when we will see a big price jump in renewals... :scared1: I really hope not....:goodvibes

The renewal is 12 months for 117.14 tax inclusive. The 15 month renewal was for people that had the two year pass. That 15 month promotion ended already.

I have the two year pass and it expires in Oct. I even told them that when I spoke to them prior to renewing.. I did renew last week. So I don't think it was only for the 2 year pass people or they would still have it runing..as some said, not all have expired yet

I agree. I'm the one that got my 2 year pass renewed for 15 months. Even though my pass expires next month, I called in early August (a couple of days after Disney raised their prices) and asked about the 15 months and got it. I'm not sure why I got it and others didn't unless the promotion had just ended or was ending. I'm sorry others didn't get the same offer or maybe mummy dust was sprinkled on me that day.

What ever it was... count your blessings because they aren't offering it now...:thumbsup2 They never did say they didn't offer it, they only said they weren't offering it.. so you probably did just luck out on the end of a promo deal... :worship: oh mummy dust where are you....:lmao:
