AP Renewal Question

Hi Folks, I'm hoping you can help me out here in my planning.....

Last year, during my trip in August, I upgraded my park passes to AP's because I knew I would be making another trip or 2 during the year because I have family living in Orlando now. Before I checked out in August, I took advantage of the BB offer for the following August also. When I arrive, I would like to apply the price I'm paying for my passes in the BB offer to my renewal for my AP's. Here are my questions:

1. Am I able to do this as planned (Apply park passes to a renewal for my AP's)?

2. With my regular passes, I can do my FP 60 days in advance, but with my AP I can only do 30 days in advance. Is there a way to carry my FP over to the AP when I renew them (If I can renew them as planned)so that I can still use the FP that were made 60 days in advance?

3. Does all of this have to be done at the park or can I do this prior to leaving for my trip?

Thanks in advance!!

With any onsite stay you can book AP fastpasses 60 Days in advance just like regular tickets.

See the guest services desk to apply the tickets towards your renewal.

OK, Great, thanks for the info, butI have 2 follow up questions: How do I link my AP to my current reservation? Is that done simply on the MDE app? And will it matter if my AP expires the day after I am scheduled to arrive?

Your AP is already linked to you in Munich a Disneybound experience, or should be. It does my need to be linked to the reservation, it is linked to you, and you are linked to your reservation.

Technically it does matter that the AP expires the day after you arrive, but since the package will have tickets linked to you, it won’t matter.

When you go to guest serves to upgrade your tickets to a renewal AP, no fastpasses should be lost, since the ticket is simply converting to a AP renewal and the fastpasses are linked to you, not to a specific hard ticket. However, given the timing, I would also screen shot or print out all your fastpasses before leaving home in case some strange tech glitch happens with the cast member upgrades your tickets to they AP renewal.
