AP renew online

If you renew online when does the new date start on the day you renew it online? For example, if AP expires Oct 15., but renew today when would it expire? Also can you still get in using the old AP until the new one arrives?

You would still have the same expiration date you already had on your AP!

I ordered my renewal on line this last Sunday, and got it in the mail yesterday. 4 days, not too bad. I have gone to DL when I had already ordered my renewal but had not received it yet, I had a lot of problems getting through the gate each time. They had already activated the new pass even though I hadn't received it yet. I finally got a paper ticket from City Hall so I wouldn't keep getting stopped every time. I find that ordering it on line gets you a faster reception of your pass than if you renew it through the mail.

I can answer this, too.

I ordered my ap online & got it last week. It says it will expire 9/30/08.

Today my dd & I went to DL. I had my old card & the machine wouldn't take it. Since it said 9/30/07, she overrode the system & I got in.

So, once you get your new card go ahead & use it.
