AP Rates

I've only recently become an annual passholder. I'm a DVC member, so most of my WDW accommodations will be through DVC, but there's a trip I've got coming up (October 2006 - I really plan in advance) where I will want to stay part of the time at AKL. I've never booked a room before trying to get the AP discount. Is there any way of knowing if an AP discount will be in effect in October 2006? Also, anyone know when I will be able to book this?

There's no way of knowing if there will be a discount available this far ahead. In fact, there were NO AP discounts available over our fall break this week. This is the first time in as long as I can remember that this happened. Hopefully, this was just a glitch due to the rough beginning of the BRP.

Hmmm... The time when I'm going will be a busy time. I know Food & Wine and MNSSHP will be going on. I guess that doesn't bode well for the prospects of an AP discount.

Well, If there is a discount, I'll stay at AKL. Otherwise, I'll stay at Pop.
