I just got AKL, standard view, Feb 1 - Feb 4, at $121.54 per night, including tax. Five day cancellation policy.

I was on hold for 15 minutes. The CM - Roma - was GREAT and said it has been busy and she is changing ressies right and left for the AP holders.

I was also offered this rate, but opted for the wilderness lodge, we just stayed at the animal kingdom lodge 2 years ago and haven't been to the wl in a while.! It was only a $160 difference...not too bad!

We are going there in Apr/May and staying on DVC points. My goal is to stay at all the Disney resorts at least once.

I'm still excited about the great rate! Maybe I will get an upgrade.

Just made reservations at PC for Jan. 31-Feb. 3 for $49 and POR Feb 4 & 5 for $79. I've been patiently waiting for weeks! I wanted Wilderness Lodge but it was not available...

Just tried getting a room at WL.......the only thing available at the AP rate was the Honeymoon Suite for $1250 - 2/2 thru 2/7. I passed What ever happened to a simple Woods View room ?!?!?!?!

Called back and guess what ??? Suddenly there was a Woods View room available for our dates, if we checked in on 2/1 instead of 2/2. We can do that !!!!! So we'll be staying at the Wilderness Lodge for the 1st time just in time for my birthday ! Ok, it'll be a week early, but who's counting

Our rate, using the AP code was $125 per night........$697 for 5 night including tax. This is a LOT more than Stephen and I usually spend on lodging, but this trip will be special. It's my early birthday and we're attending the 'So This Is Love' event at WDW on the 4th.......in complete formal attire no less. Can't stay at a Value Resort under these circumstances can we ?

With tax PC was 54 and change. I got PC for Jan31-Feb 1 for $49. I'm so excited. Just got back from WL Monday and I am ready to go back!!!

LOL you know you are a Disney nut when you stay 7 nights at the Dolphin, check out on December 31st (because nothing is available for that night) to visit the inlaws an hour away and then drive back to Disney the next day for another 3 nights at the All Star Music for 49 a night!!! What can I say...WE LOVE DISNEY!!! LOL!!

The AP rates for Jan - Feb were just released this morning. You might try checking back in late January - early February. It's just my opinion, but I don't think March rates will be released any time soon.

You might try getting your reservations now and then modify them once the codes for your dates come out.

Kitster - I'm going to be at Disney during the 'So This Is Love' event you mentioned. Could you tell me more about it because I haven't seen it anywhere else? This will be my daughter-in-law's first visit and it might be a nice surprise for her and my son. Thanks.
