AP Rates tomorrow!!

Well, I hope so anyway. Historically tomorrow is the day, fourth Monday of August for Oct.-Dec. I already have a BC room booked at AAA $249, but anything less than that would be great!

Do you know if they release FL Resident Rates with AP rates?

OOHHH!! I hope so!!! I was so mad that when i finally knew I could make another Thanksgiving, I just missed the best rate thing by a few days!!! Ive been waiting for the AP rates to come out!!! COME ON AP RATES!!! WE'RE WAITING FOR YA!

And if it was to come out tomorrow, don't they usually notify passholders the day before, which would be todaay. At least that is how they have done it the past couple of times, or was that for some different kinda code? I have a hard time keeping up with it!

They usually don't release those rates at the same time. Standard has been AP first then weeks later Fl resident. We are the last to fill up the rooms (at least that is how Disney looks at it).

Yeah, you are right. I haven't gotten an email yet. They have been emailing us (if registered) to give us a heads up. That must be a sign that they aren't coming out ...today.

Nothing yet, I just called!!! CM states they have been very busy this AM!!! I have Best Rate for 12/2-9, but would like to change to WL!! Last year codes for either our December trip, or July trip were released in afternoon! They were not loaded into system until then!!

So frustrating and we aren't going until December. I'd be a basketcase if we were leaving 10/5. How awful to have to wait til so close to the trip! Here's hoping something happens tomorrow!

Now, I am totally confused. So, if they release AP rates, will it work like the AP rates did before the Best Rate plan came out? You can call and book the AP discount without actually HAVING the AP yet. You just have to present it at check-in? This was my original plan, then the best rate thing came out and I thought they were doing away with the old AP plan altogether.

I just applied the AAA discount to our Poly ressies for 10-19 to 10-24. BUT, I haven't actually called and got the membership yet. So, maybe I should hold off and see what happens with the AP rates first?!? UGH!!! WHY do they have to make it so CONFUSING!!!!

I just talked to them and the CM said that they will have AP rates, the regular old way, out soon for the next set of dates. She said the Best Rate Program is designed for AP holders, since they come so often, just to give them a heads up on the deals.

Really no way to know this, since this program just started. I would think we should see the regular AP rates next week though, now that I think about it. Right now you can still get AP rates, the regular way, for dates August 28th through October 4th. Is there a "must book by" date on those August 28th-October 4th dates? Usually they do have a must book by date on AP rates, which is usually up until the actual start date...which is August 28th...meaning we should see the next ones around that time...right? Just thinking as I type.

OK, correcting myself here. AP rates are usually good until the LAST day of the booking period. This is what happened last year with them, along with the other discounts that came out, all the very next day after the AP rates did. Looks to be about a month before the booking period started that the codes were released. So, maybe we won't see them until early September.?
