Someone posted yesterday they were told the APs for summer would be released on 4/9. A res agent at CRO told me she was shocked they weren't out yet and expected it to be any time now. We're all just waiting--historically, post-9/11 exception, the APs aren't released until mid to late-March--we're awfully close. . . Just keep your eyes open and fingers crossed--they should be comin' soon. . .
The CM I talked to Friday was also shocked that they weren't out yet. Expecially since all these new ones came out.
She felt they kinda were doing things backwards......
In "her opinion" they should have released the AP rates before the others, considering that AP holders are "regulars" so to speak. And when they heard there were new ones released that morning she thought for sure they included AP....so she searched and found nothing.
So she suggested I just keep calling often.
The next Mickey Monitor doesn't come out until the beginning of May, so let's hope the AP rates come out before that!
I've been an AP holder for years, and typically the rates are released mid to late March, last year 2002, being the exception when they were released in late January. (I just checked an old datebook, and I actually wrote the date down in 2000 that I got the AP rate - it was Saturday March 26.)
i booked a room at por today for my stay in june. i asked the cm about ap rates and he said they still hadn't heard. i got por for $104.80/night including tax. i'm happy w/that. if ap rates do come out, how much lower do you think the rates would be? i think i paid $119 last summer for my aug trip using my ap so i'm wondering if there will even be an ap rate. i guess i just have to wait and see.

the number was on the sleve that comes with the passes - which of course I lost. I can't find my 3x5 with the number on it right now (but will post it when I find it), but I know you can call w-disney and ask for someone in annual passes. They have transfered me before.
It would be interesting to see if we could speed up the decision by having someone different follow up every day. Of course that may signal increasing future demand and cause them to freeze prices. What to do ... I certianly don't know how to be patient ... not when it comes to planning my fun...
