AP rates for late Spring?

Hi everyone, I'm sorry if this has already been asked, I searched the current threads but couldn't find any info...

Does anyone have any clue when the AP rates for late Spring will be out? Will we have to wait until the current offer expires, March 25 I think? I know there is a GP discount for late Spring already, but it seems like all of the rooms I'm interested for May are already booked, I thought maybe I'd have more luck with the AP discount, and waiting until March is going to be hard!

GF Outer Building Garden View 6/5-6/9 for $395 per night. $1778 total for 4 nights.

We called yesterday, basically as soon the AP rates were released --
(trip- 3/30-4/6/15---)

Needed to amend our CBR reservation to AP rate, and all rooms (except for King) were already gone !

CM told DW that only 10 standard rooms were available with the AP rate !!!



Amended to Pop Century and saved over $500--- basically covers the cost of our dinners, which worked for us--- but only 10 rooms available---??? WOW !

I am going to CBR over spring break, too. I think it has to do with the resort. I couldn't get the Spring rate (I called next day because I was behind the curve), a bounceback, or this AP rate. The only thing ever available to me was the King. Alas, I am full price. I have begged my kid to switch, but it's his birthday, he wants to stay here (and for once he's positive about going to Disney--teenagers), and I can afford it, so here we are.

We had the same problem, and its our DDs Bday too !!! We have stayed at CBR for years--- our kids (and mom and dad) love it, and are so used to it- I could not believe we got shut out of the AP rate-- ! We dont even have a problem getting it over the Thanksgiving weekend when we go !

Showed her the pics of Pop Century, and sold her on the Arcade---

The CBR arcade doesnt give out prizes !!

I wonder if it was actually the AP rate or if it was the general spring offer. I ask because your dates are almost exactly our dates, so I've been watching discounts carefully. I booked the spring 30% deal the morning it was released because Easter week was not blacked out (couldn't believe it!). Then changed it to Orbitz the next day with the extra 15% off. Anyway, with this new AP deal, the text indicates that our week is blacked out for AP discount but that it's available for the general deal:

Passholders who book now can enjoy savings of up to 35% at select Resort hotels most nights April 6 through June 15, 2015. Also, enjoy savings up to 30% available to non-Passholders most nights March 29 through April 5, 2015.

So I wonder if you checked the general spring deal for your dates rather than clicking on the AP deal if you'd find your desired room? Just a thought. I think the reason not many AP rooms were showing up is because they were snagged when the 30% spring deal was released. There was a TON of availability for Easter week when I booked, and right now when I checked there is not very much left, sadly.

Well shoot, sorry it didn't work out for you. But you're right about the Pop arcade -- it's awesome! Every trip we take includes a bus ride to Pop/AoA to play in the arcades because they give out prizes!

We always enjoy the little walk back and forth between AoA and Pop too.

Our kids got hooked on the Beach Club Arcade during our last trip--- we had a bit of a wait for our "Beaches & Cream" ADR, and thank goodness for that arcade ! They had a prize dispenser that gave our "Frozen" rings, so that made their day !!! Actually, really looking forward to staying at "Pop" !!

Funny thing--- went on-line before--- Our resort confirmation states "Passholder room", however, I went online, and there were no AP rooms available---- But.... the "Spring Deal" was available, and the cost per night is exactly what we paid, so I think thats what they gave us.
