Thanks for calling everyone. I took what CM said to me the other day to heart and i am trying to get a life and i slept in. LOL

Actually, I was so "high strung" last night watching The Sopranos and then switching to the Cubs game.

For 3 minutes the phone here was ringing off the hook wondering if the TV went out at the Sopranos ending...then I watched the Cubs just blow up in the 8th inning. .....all of this said, i could not fall asleep until 12:30 am.

Oh well, I think its this Wednesday. Have a good day all !!!!!!!!

Just booked the Yacht Club through AAA for $267. 50/ night from 8/16-8/19. They have a 5 day cancel policy so we're covered. Hope the AP rate is less.

I was thinking of booking through AAA for Wilderness Lodge, but the price through them is $215 which is the rack rate through Disney. No real discount there, unless I'm missing something? Same thing for Animal Kingdom.

I think there is only a limited number of rooms at the AAA rate so they may possibly have sold out.

I always book a resort before I purchase my airfare. I almost always book with AAA at first and then switch over to AP when/if it becomes available. The only time I was able to switch to AP was for my Oct 05 trip when they started the best rate program. I was very I had the AAA discount already on the room as it was sold out by the time I knew I wouldn't get an AP rate.

Ok, you freaked me out enough to make me book. I can't take the pressure. When will these codes be released?? The CM I booked with was very nice and she even checked to be sure there weren't any AP codes yet. I have up til 6 days before we arrive to change. I'm not picky, we just want a value resort. I booked Pop for a change. I told her I'd be more satisfied staying somewhere new if I have to pay a little more. Got the AAA discount, though. Now I can rest easy. (yeah, right, I'm still waiting for those discount codes!!)

I soooooo hope it is tomorrow too. I'm getting a little frazzled over here. If not tomorrow, I may just have to make reservations anyway and just hope the AP discount is for the time we are going.

I called at 6:01 am. Nothing yet. If they were out, i would have jumped on here to post. BUT, i went and did my "morning rituals" (if you know what i mean).

If they are not out tomorrow, THEN, I have no answers and I would suggest to all to make your reservations and look into joining AAA.
