AP rates are here!!!

Just got WL Standard view for 7/3 to 7/8. $124/nt before tax - $139 after tax. The AP rate cost me an additional $200, but I got the Wilderness Lodge instead of Caribbean Beach. Got to love that!!!

denman007 -- actually you've probably got one room for $69 and one for $59 since the extra adult fee is $10 at the value resorts. I feel your pain b/c one of my kids is now an "adult," which is why we're moving to two rooms at the All Stars.

Hi All I got my discount applied tonight!! Yeah!! Finally came out. We started out with 2 rooms at the All Star Sports for 3,200.00 for 16 nights .Got the final total down to 2,100.00!! I think that is great for a family of six we are so pleased we may stay a week at Old Key West. I'll try them tomorrow . So, I my not be done applying my discount yet. I'll let you know Good Luck to All!!! One Happy Camper going to Disney World!

I waited too long today before calling for a ressie at AKL (standard view) for June 28-30 and I was told standard view is sold out! <sobbing fairy>. :( We were so looking forward to staying there for the $124 rate! They offered water view at $200 a night, but that's more than we want to spend. WL woods view rooms were going for $155 a night (hmmm...not what everyone else was reporting!)which is still a bit more than we want (why did we ever decide to go to WDW the same year we're hoping to buy our first home???...it's the call of the APs sitting on my desk of course - have to get our magic's worth before they expire in Nov!!!!). So DH and I settled on a king - bed room at CB for $89 a night plus tax. Bring on the pina coladas! ....and who knows, maybe they'll overbook because of POFQ closing and they'll move us up!
When it comes down to it though, this is Disney....it's not about where I park my keester at night, it's just about BEING there, amidst the magic!!!
Have a great night, Disney pals!
Kim

WL woods view is $155 with tax, some report rates before tax, Disney will give it with tax and since tax is 11.5% it does make a difference.

I see everyone is getting $59 at AS. I got $64 for both my rooms because there are 5 adults and 3 kids. Next time one of the adults will become a child. lol

That will work only if you don't need a room ID for them.

Does anyone know if a 2 bedroom villa at OKW is being discounted with and AP rate??

Thanks

I think the referral to a true passholder is one that buys the passes for every family member and using them for the purpose of getting into the parks. Discounts would be secondary. Some have only bought the AP to get the discount and only bought one.

I really don't see a problem one way or the other. If Disney decides that only AP discounts are available to families that all have an AP then they will be the ones to decide to change it. Until then the requirement is the booking person needs the AP.

Yes, it is. At least they were available when I called. I didn't use it because my current discount was better, but I believe it was around $480 per nite.

woohooo my Dreams Agent. Tammy is a dream! She saved me another $268 I went from $94 a night plus tax to $82.51 per night tax included for my 12 nights June/July!!!!!!!!!!

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just looking for 2 nights June 27-29th. ASMu, ASMo, and all moderates are NOT available. Boy that was quick. Yesterday was the only day I did not check the boards and look what happened. That'll teach me! Hope others have better luck.

We got BWV 1 bedroom for 359.33 a night. The previous rate was 373.67. Not a huge savings, but good enough for us. We figure savings in terms of how many Mickey Premium bars we can buy for DS or how many Viking Size Ringnes beers we can buy for DH! Is that sick or what?!?

Hi I'm on with CRO as I type and have rebooked. I got a woods view at WL 154 a night saving over 100 a night. The CM was wonderful and told me Woods View goes for 254 a night. I was paying over 400 for a 3 day stay, standard view and now just over 300 for woods.

I am staying at ASMu and counting in the extra money for the AP- which wasn't much $11 ( and I had pretty much decided to get one anyways) and saved $123 total for the 8 days.

Just called CRO...
Poly Garden View AP rooms all gone.
Poly lagoon view AP rooms still available.
AKL standard AP rooms still available.

The Poly dates were for May 3-6. The AKL dates were May 7-9.

Ok here goes! I see that the AP's are finally out. Currently I have a room only ressie. How does one go about using an AP rate and using a package. Can you just apply the discount to the room only portion of the ressie? We don't go until 4/2004. I know we want to add the Silver plan eventually. I'm sure I'll get several different answers, but I'd like to hear a correct answer. Can anyone help me or am I beyond help?

Well, unfortunately you cannot book a package with an AP rate. AP rate reservations are room only. This is most likely because packages come with park tickets which annual passholders don't need. So if you really want to book the silver plan package you will have to try to book with some other discount or at rack rate. I do think it would be nice if they somehow made it possible for AP holders to book the silver plan (minus tickets). But hey, we do get discounts on certain meals, so we're still getting off pretty well.

I had CBR under code AXA for 5/31 thru 6/13 at $94 a night without tax. I called with the AP code and was told that I could only apply the code to the first 9 nights. The CM had to book the first 9 nights under a new reservation to get the AP rate of 82.51 a night including tax. He then modified my existing reservation for the remaining nights. Those nights will stay at the $94 a night rate. I will have to recheck in on 6/9, but he told me to tell them when I first check in that I have two back to back reservations and we will not have to change rooms.

I wish I could have gotten the entire thing under the AP rate, but it still saved me $345. This certainly made buying APs worthwhile, especially since we will be using them again in October. Since I had already paid in full for my trip, the CM credited what was required to each reservation and the remainder will be credited back to my Visa.

I'm assuming that they had used up all the available nights alloted to the code at CBR.

I called yester day and had my ressies switched from ASMu to Coronado for 99 including tax and now I read that some have gotten CBR for 82.50 including tax for their AP rate. Wouldn't all moderates be the same. In fact, I asked the CM if that was the correct rate because I thought that I had seen an AP rate for 74 not including tax on Mousesavers.com for the moderates but she said that was the correct rate that she gave me. So what gives???:(

You either have a water view or king bed room reserved. The AP rates for moderates are $74 ($82.50 w/ tax) for standard view rooms and $89 ($99.24 w/ tax) for water view & king bed rooms.
