AP rates are here!!!

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just took the plunge and booked the Poly for our June trip. This is my DREAM resort. I can't believe it. Thank you so much for keeping us updated!

I happened to check the boards during our break in one of my PM college classes and saw the great news. Needless to say, I dashed out to make the call and found out that we ended up saving $502 on our Polynesian reservations for June after applying the AP discount!

Thanks for keeping everyone up to date!!!

This is great news about the AP rates. . . I'm hoping they will be available for August! I noticed there is a discount for WL woods view ($139). Does anyone know if there is a discount for standard rooms that would be even less than the $139? (Not that I'd be disappointed to pay that for a woods view! ) Thanks! Any indication from Disney about expecting similar rates for later in the summer?

There is probably a very limited number of standard rooms left due to the closing of POFQ and the offer to upgrade to AKL and WL standard at $10 over the moderate cost.

You can always check, as cancellations might come up. It would only be a few dollars difference, I would go with the Woods view.

Value season starts July 4th. I expect rates for the end of summer to be slightly cheaper than these.:)

I just wish they required every guest in the room to have an AP. That would free up a lot of these rooms and allow true Passholders to get the rates that should be available to them.

What's a "true" passholder? As long as one person (I assume an adult) has an AP why shouldn't they be able to use the AP rate?

i'm thrilled:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc leave on sunday and had pretty much given up on AP rates, and all of a sudden they're here:D :D i'm going from apr27 to may 10 and was able to get the AP rate for 10 of my 13 nights, staying AKL for 6 nights then 7 at csr:D thanks to everyone for the news:D

I switched from BWI to BC for 5/1-5/3 due to the BWI being sold out on 5/3, but that's okay because the BC is like my second home, plus I am saving $90!!!!!!!
YAY for AP rates!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if there is an AP lounge at any of the parks????
;) :bounce:

Did anyone get the newsletter yet?

I was able to use the AP rate for our stay at All Star Sports. We will be there from June 29-July10. When I first booked I believe the rate was $99 per night, now it's $59. Not as good as the $49 I got in 2001, but I'll take it.

I have an upgrade from POFQ to WL for the dates of 6/27 to 7/4.

My total night rate with tax is $175.50 for 3 adults.

I tried to get the $139 rate, but they add $25 per night for the 3rd adult (my son). So the total cost would have been $60 higher if I took the AP rate.

I guess this makes sense. My son is 19 and is charged as an adult...I am not sure if that was the case with the POFQ ressie, since my wife did that, but I guess I was told the true story. A family with younger kids will benefit for sure.

Does this sound logical to everyone?...I never have tried the codes before and didn't know what to expect exactly.

I guess not extra souviner money for me....lol

But still happy to be at WL this summer..

;) Congrats everyone!!

I just checked myself, but the rate for Poly LV Concierge $423.75 is the same as the rate I received in my email last month. :(

That's OK though, I'm happy for everyone!!! Reading all these posts puts a smile on my face :teeth:

Anyone have GF lagoon view with AP rate? I am keeping track of all these rates for our trip next year. Please post how much....I thank you in advance. Congrats to all you who have gotten what you wanted!!!

Have AXA rate from 5/22-5/27 @CBR...called to apply AP rate & was told AP rate not available for CBR for those dates.

I just booked it for those exact dates.

Didn't save any extra $$ but now I'm out of the All-Stars for $1 more!

Poly for even less that $199 + tax would be quite nice:)

WooHooo...just switched my reservation for the cabin for 6 nights starting June 14 from the old AFS code to AP and saved over $150! This is the first day I didn't check here or Mousesavers during the day, just too hectic, but the second I saw this thread tonight, and then the rates on Mousesavers, I couldn't punch in the phone number fast enough! Thanks everyone for being on top of things!:bounce: :bounce:

I see everyone is getting $59 at AS. I got $64 for both my rooms because there are 5 adults and 3 kids. Next time one of the adults will become a child. lol

I waited too long today before calling for a ressie at AKL (standard view) for June 28-30 and I was told standard view is sold out! <sobbing fairy>. :( We were so looking forward to staying there for the $124 rate! They offered water view at $200 a night, but that's more than we want to spend. WL woods view rooms were going for $155 a night (hmmm...not what everyone else was reporting!)which is still a bit more than we want (why did we ever decide to go to WDW the same year we're hoping to buy our first home???...it's the call of the APs sitting on my desk of course - have to get our magic's worth before they expire in Nov!!!!). So DH and I settled on a king - bed room at CB for $89 a night plus tax. Bring on the pina coladas! ....and who knows, maybe they'll overbook because of POFQ closing and they'll move us up!
When it comes down to it though, this is Disney....it's not about where I park my keester at night, it's just about BEING there, amidst the magic!!!
Have a great night, Disney pals!

Kim

Thanks to all for the wonderful info on the AP rates. I just checked with CRO and the AP rate would only save me $100 for my stay in May. I already had the CZF Disney Visa code and decided on keeping that instead of spending more on the AP ticket. ;) I figure I have already saved over $1000 with my FF miles for 2 free tickets and the advance purchase price of PHP tickets and the CZF code for our room. So I can say I am happy :Pinkbounc camper :Pinkbounc .
I have definitly learned alot from you guys!!

Thanks for the quick info on the board. I rushed home and was disappointed to learn no AP rates available to apply to my ressie for WL for may 5-11. CM stated he had booked this resort for a lot of displaced POFQ guests. Good news is that Poly was available and I will only be spending $50 more a night to stay there ($222 incl. tax). So overall AP rates didn't save me any money but they sure did make me happy! By the way these dates were very booked for the discount in the deluxe resorts. Only water view or concierge at all the epcot resorts and only concierge available at Contemporary. AKL had all room types available though. Good luck to everyone else.

The first day I don't obsessively check the boards and the AP rates come out!

I will call first thing in the a.m. Hopefully there are still some discounts available.

I got it! CSR for $82 incl tax. I started out at $115 including tax. so I ended up saving $99 over 3 nights.

THANKS!
