If you have the AP rate with dining check your reservations. I just pulled mine up on the web and I noticed they had insurance added to the package. I'm about to call and have that changed. If you don't want insurance you might want to check yours also.

That is excellent to know. I hadn't even thought of it, especially since most AP holders are only use to booking room only reservations.

I was just quoted $630.54 for seven nights in a standard room at AS Sports for May 3rd-10th. When I asked about dining she quoted me $941.97, which would make the basic dining plan $311.43 for one person or 44.49/day. I asked her twice if maybe she added in insurance and she assured me she had not, but it sure looks like she did.

When I called to book the cm quoted me the price with Ins. Had she not said anything, I would not have even thought about it. I had her take it off.

So yes make sure you check & have it taken off if you do not want want it.

Go to Disney's web site and in the upper right hand side of the page click on my vacations. You will need to sign to Disney's site. If you are already registered you can then enter your resort reservation number and your phone number and check your reservation. It will show on that if insurance was selected or not. If you are not all ready registered for Disney's site I think it will take 24 hours for your reservations to show.

The dining plan with tax is $40. (im almost positive that is with tax someone correct me please if I'm wrong). So that would make it $280 for 7 nights. Thats pretty close to what you say they quoted. I really don't know how much insurance is for 1 adult.

Hope the checking the website gives you your answer.

After getting the prices I told her I would think about it and get back with them. I just called and got a different CM who quoted the price for seven nights May 3rd-May 10th in a standard room at AS Sports (exactly as before) for $607.94 and when I asked about dining she quoted me $873.87 which would make the dining $265.93 or $37.99/day. She told me the $37.99/day included tax. I went ahead and booked this time, but did a room only. But with the second CM the price of the room went down $22.60 and the DDP went down $45.50 for the exact same room:confused3 . If all they have to do is punch your dates into their computers, shouldn't the computer then show them the exact same information:confused3 . The differences in the price of both the room and the DDP were so small that it didn't make sense to me how they got two different totals.
