A little background: Taking the family to Disney for 9 days in Nov/Dec. Because of the flood in Nashville a conference I'm attending has been suddenly moved to the Swan/Dolphin the end of July. I can't be that close and not see the Mouse! So I'm scrambling and trying to decide the best way to handle tickets and room rates for both trips.
Here's my question: In the past, have AP rates been blacked out around Thanksgiving week/weekend? I'm seriously considering buying an AP for me and whether or not I can get a great rate on a few days in our Nov/Dec split stay might help the decision (my hotel for the conference is already covered).
