AP question

When you purchase an AP when do the December rates usually come out? Do they send these in the mail? How can you find out what the rate is before you purchase your AP? Also if you have booked a room only ressie using the Disney Club, when is the best time to cancel it and put in for AP rate? If I call Disney can they cancel my Disney Club ressie and turn back around and put in the AP ressie? I know this may be a bit confusing, but it is to me also. Any help will be so GREATLY appreciated!!!

You don't need to buy the AP before you make your reservation - you just have to have it or a voucher when you check in. If you check in using a voucher, you may have to show them your activated pass during your stay.

We did exactly this for our December trip this year. I read on Mousesaver's the code for AP discount - but you really don't even need that - just ask CRO if there are any annual passholder discounts available for your time. This year the AP discount for December was released early - August I believe.

We made our reservation with AP discount for CR at the end of September with no trouble, and added another for AKL Concierge in the beginning of November with plenty of availability.
