AP MNSSHP tickets

My friend is an AP holder. We are MDE "friends" so can she purchase my MNSSHP tickets for me? She will not be traveling with us but she is able to assign the tickets to us (me and husband) at check out.

Anyone have experience with this?

Based on my own experience and review of the purchase terms, you should be fine. I've purchased AP-discounted MNSSHP tickets and other special event tickets and assigned them to non-AP holders (some on my MDE account and some to my brother's MDE account (after connecting as MDE "friends," as you mentioned)). Those non-AP holders did not need to show an AP, nor did I even need to be with them at entry.

The purchase terms state a requirement for AP holders to show their AP at check-in if the room was reserved using an AP discount, but the terms do not have an equivalent or similar clause for ticket purchases.

Just as an FYI, they don't discount all tickets, just certain dates.

Thanks! She checked my date and it's discounted we just didn't want to go ahead and purchase till we knew it was ok to do.

Where does it show which dates are AP discounted? I'm wondering about Sept 26th

On the main ticket page, you click "Products and Price for AP Holders". The 26th is a discounted date, $73 for adults and $68 for kids

If you can't view passholder pricing on the WDW site, the first post of the Official MNSSHP thread here on the DIS also has AP dates and prices, as well as CM discount dates.
