AP hotels?

All the resorts have AP rates at some point. Disney offers AP rates when they need to sell rooms. That's why rates are usually released only a month or so in advance, and why they are not always available. The only guarenteed time (in the past) has been January 2-February 14, and those rates are usually released in October. Sometimes those rates get extended into the first week of March, but not usually. This year is an exception. So you need to keep calling and checking the boards. If you want to go at a certain time, and have your travel plans made and your time off from work, make reservations, then keep checking to see if you can get a discount. That's what happened to us--we had to go at a certain time this March (22-26) because of a show choir competition in Epcot. We just got lucky and got an AP rate on our room.
