AP- Fun Card (birthday gift card)

My weird question is if you preregister, do you have to do it for one park only, or does it cover both parks? Why I ask is I am still hoping to go to WDW in Oct for my birthday and to take the new baby to see my Inlaws who live in Cocoa Beach. But DH still questions if we will be able to go, so I have no idea which park I will be going to for my Bday

That's odd, I thought you'd be able to go to Guest Services too, but someone else on this thread said that they went there and were told to go to the regular line.

Knowing us - we'd have tried it anyway though

I know that one can choose either Dl or WDW. I do not foresee a problem for you, in the event that you choose WDW, instead. For as long as it is your actual birthday, there should not be any problems.

Well, we have until June to figure this out. So by then I would hope DLR would know what they are doing and more people will report on how it went.

We went yesterday for MIL's birthday. I tried to register her on Thursday when we decided to go, but it said since it was within 48 hours we couldn't register. So I called guest services and they said it is fine, just bring valid id with birthdate to the ticket window - registering just saves a little time when you get to the window. Everything was fine, she got her ticket and we had fun!

Do you think you were able to go to city hall because of your AP? Did they ask to see it?

Did they ask for his AP? No, they didn't. We went the night before and asked where we could get the card, the City Hall employee told us to come to CH and not worry about the ticket booths. She said they could give them out there with a slightly smaller line.

And no, we did not receive any paperwork for him, he just showed his ID and they entered his info right then. And yes, we used the same email address for Micah as we did for me and the girls.

In DTD we were told they would be good in WOD and that was it. But we didn't use his there, we used it in the Bat En Rouge shop and in the Emporium on MS.

I have the SoCal AP! Blacked out Saturday's! My bday is Fri 3/6 and DH is Sun 4/19! We will be going for both days. I have us all registered. My SoCal AP expires in Sept. Can we use our gift cards to renew in Sept OR do you have to use the gift cards THAT DAY on your birthday?


If not does anyone know if you can use the gift card in WOD?

Yes, you can use it to renew.
No, you don't have to use it that day. (Per CA state law, the gift card can't expire.)
Yes, you can use it at WOD is you want.
