We are going to WDW in June and Nov so I'm going to get one AP. Will spend 7 days in the parks. I know 8 days is the break even point, but I'm thinking maybe the AP will allow us a better room rate for the Nov Trip.

Is there any reason not to get the AP for one of my kids rather than myself? Its about aa $50 difference.

I see nothing wrong if just one of your kids wants an AP.

But there is no guarantee that resort rooms at a reduced rate for AP holders will be available on any given date, or how many rooms.

The room must be booked in the name of the AP holder, although I see nothing wrong with somebody else paying for it.
