AP discounts out thru 5/21

Well - it looks like AP discounts are out March 30 - May 21. I just got the email. I can't go during that time but I thought I would let everyone know - pardon me please if someone has already posted this. It looks like it's just All Star and Disney Deluxe Villas Sun-Thurs. No deluxe or moderate. There is also a dining discount available.

I have to ask - are they planning on not offering AP discounts to moderates and deluxe any longer? Good Grief....

Glad I got a bouneback rate at the Poly for our September trip ($238 a night). and, we're going in June staying at the Dolphin with an AP discount of $194.50.

This AP discount was released on 2/20/08. It's not new and I know several folks who booked moderates and delux resorts. There was slim pickings for most of April though. The last time I checked for a friend the CBR was open in all catagories for the first week of May. There are discounts of all levels. I was thinking of the first week of May when the discount was first released and I had my choice of the standard view at the AKL for $164 a night (all nights the same--weekends too).

I booked the $164 at AKL a few weeks ago(which by the way is still available for early May) and now plan on adding the dining but for some reason my #'s aren't adding up.

$164x5nights=$820+$102.50tx=$922.50 If I try to add on dining it adds on $494.72 for a total of $1417.22. Is there tax on the $37.99? If not then my add on should only be $379.90. I thought that maybe it was trip insurance but it isn't. I was looking forward to adding on the DDP but may just stick with DDE. Any thoughts?

I just crunched your numbers on the passholder website and agree that the total should be $1,304.70. This is without insurance. I just put in for 5 nights May 11-16 and AKL standard room was available and added the regular dining, and took off the insurance (which was 133.90). Not sure why you were quoted more unless they added the wine package??? (Just checked again, it wasn't the wine package either. I think they just quoted you an incorrect price.)

Thanks for checking. My actual dates are 5/8-5/13. The only other thing that I can think of is maybe they are adding back in the higher Fri, Sat rate if I add on dining One of these days I will get around to calling to see if I can sort it out over the phone. Again not a huge saving with DDP although it is a little more than I originally calculated since we can't use DDE on Mother's Day. Either way I still can't believe my DH and I are getting to go alone.......

Hmm..we've already paid in full & have the print out, so I am assuming it is a done deal?

Yea, I checked the site, too and rechecked our receipt print out.
