AP Discounts - how do you keep track?

O.k. that app is great. I'm here now and knew there was a 20% AP discount but didn't know where and kept getting just 10% and wondering why. Now I can just look at the app before going in. HBD for lunch today, 20% check.

I think the app is just for Android. I opened the MousePerks website with Safari and bookmarked it to my iPhone desktop using the Add to Homescreen function.

THanks! I didn't even know you could do this with the iphone. Learn something new everyday :D

Yak & Yeti would only give us the 10% discount on entrees. They would not include kids meals, drinks, or our appetizers which was a large portion of our meal charge. Anyone else have this happen? My thought was the discount was on the total price?

I usually try to ask every time. I'll also look at the dining or merchandise benefits on the Disney site and I'll try to only go to those places to save money.

+1 for MousePerks! I use it on Android. Dunno that it is available for Apple but they do have the web site as someone had mentioned. Very handy to compare if you happen to have more than one of the discount possibilities.

The words do you take any discounts should become part of your vocabulary and before you hand disney any money. Never assume they do not take it or the list on the website or book was accurate. don't forget not everyone on property is a disney location to eat and some of them take other discounts or have their own loyalty. Some of those programs you can earn when you eat/buy but not always use it (starbucks for example). sometimes you can combine them or again earn loyalty points but not get the discount + the tiw/ap discount.

Pay attention to gift shops, if your going to get that bottle of water or soft drink just walk into the closest gift shop where you get a discount and get it from the fridge instead of the street vendor who doesn't take it.

If your looking at the pricy things around disney, ask before you decide to buy it because some of them, especially in epcot aren't actually disney stores and don't take it.

This! I just always ask when I'm paying "Do you have an AP discount?" I can tell you that the Japanese store and the Chinese store in Epcot don't do AP discount, which is unfortunate because I tend to do a lot of shopping in both of those locations.

These places are not Disney owned /run so the discounts there vary and are rare if any.

We use the Mouseperks app religiously when we're there and concentrate on going to places that offer DVC, AP or TIW discounts for food and merchandise.

Also remember, the several 'non-signature' restaurants at Swan/Dolphin have a AAA discount of 20%
