AP Discount

Sept 21 - 27.

I thought I'd just try back again maybe different cm would recalculate AP rate for me. I don't think the last one really did, just said it was same rate I already have.

All that was left was TPV ($427.50 Sun-Thurs and $457.50 for Sat)

LV CL ($529.50 Sun-Thurs and $567 Sat)

TPV CL ($559.50 Sun-Thurs and $599.25 Sat)

I'm a first time AP holder :cool1: and I am waiting for December rates. Do AP rates have black out dates too? For example.. Thanksgiving week and Pop Warner week? Thanks!

I would think T-giving week would be at least partly blocked out but probably not Pop Warner week (or at least not all of it). AP rates are higher on weekends than midweek as well.

Thank you for the info. Maybe that is why I didn't get quoted AP rate, but wish they told me. I just checked yesterday. Unless it just became sold out today!

We are thinking about taking a last minute trip this weekend 7/27-7/29.
1) We've never taken an "impromptu" trip to WDW. 2) We've never gone for such a short time.

We have at least 3 trips in the working and were planning on purchasing APs. We had APs at one time, but we let them expire as we had a year where we couldn't travel due to DH's work.

It's a long shot, but can anyone tell me if there are any AP discounts available for this weekend? Either moderate or value?

Thank you! Thank you!

I have been trying all morning to get a quote for next Mon-Wed at POP and the passholder site is not working!! :badpc:

So frustrating! I need to see if a room is available because we have decided to arrive a couple days early. Well that is IF we can get a room!

Only mod that has rooms is POFQ (standard $186.20, garden $195.70, $209.75 King all pre-tax rates)

The Values are sold out for next weekend

Pop doesn't have any AP rooms for those dates.

Ok, I just got off the phone with Disney and the reservation system is down. This is why it is showing no availability. She assured me that there were rooms available at POP and asked me to call back in a couple of hours.
She also said that the online reservations were affected as well.

I just checked on AP rate at POP last night and all room types were available so I was very upset to see none today. I told the CM this and she apologized and assured me again that rooms were indeed available.

HTH

I just looked (i do not like this new site!) and it shows $148 for standard at Pop and 163 for a preferred room

Hey Guys, just a 2 quick questions, that I imagine I know the answer to.

When booking an AoA do AP rates apply !?!?!

Secondly, When booking a family suit, it still only gets the Value discount AP rate, correct ?

Thanks guys,

Yes, AoA is at the value rate, but it might not be a full 20% (or whatever the advertised value rate will be). Sometimes the suites are as low as 5% and I don't think LM section is typically included at all since folks are more than willing to pay rack for it.

 Ok, this is probably a dumb question (never believed teachers who said there were no dumb questions :rotfl:) but are the AP discounts for December expected to be released on Monday like the DV discounts? Or will they come at a later date? TIA for the help!

Probably later

I just booked airfare for an October trip (15-22) - am I likely to see AP discounts come out for that time or should I just count on a public or DV room-only discount?

maybe book the public/DV offer and wait and see if an AP discount comes out? Then you can call and apply the AP offer if it is better? That is what I am going to do.::yes::

Yea absolutely the best plan, you don't want to get stuck in a situation where you don't take the public/DV offer, hoping for an AP, then when no AP comes out, or there aren't rooms at the resorts you want, the AP/DV offer is already full/gone (or again just at the resort you want) ... and then you are double stuck.

I know that's the route we will be going for our Trip May 2014, I am fairly certain a GP offer will be out long before AP rates (if the last few years are anything to go by), so we will book GP, then wait and see what our APs can hook us up with.
