AP discount plus dining plan? Help!

We are going to Disney at the end of Nov, and are purchasing the dining plan. When AP rates come out, it might make sense for me to buy one, but I know that in order to purchase the dining plan you have to purchase magic your way tickets as well.

If I purchase a 1 day ticket for myself, will I still be able to get an AP discount on the room?

You can purchase a 1 day ticket and updrade it to an AP when you get there.

You can purchase a 1 day ticket and updrade it to an AP when you get there.

The room, tickets, and dining plan all come together in a package, so no, you cannot get the dining plan with an AP-discounted room.
