AP blackout dates question

I have a question regarding the Disneyland annual passes with blackout dates. I thought I remember reading that if you had one of these, you could get a discounted admission on days where your annual pass is blacked out. Is this correct, or would you have to pay full price to go on a blackout day?

i do believe they are $40 for a blackout AP pass.

all you do is go up to the window and show them your pass and ask to buy a blackout AP pass.

very easy just go to a ticket booth and they will sell you a blockout ticket
Albort is right 40$ atleast until prices go up in August

It is $40 and you get them from the ticket booths as everyone has stated. Think about an upgrade tho if you're considering a visit on a black out day, it just might be worth it to upgrade rather than pay for the black out pass, especially if you're going on more than 1 black out day.

That's exactly what I did with DDs DAP I figured 40 here then another 40 I might as well get her a PAP LOL
