Ok sorry about this but here's another question!

If i purchased the AP on arrival what would be the chances of me getting a discount on a hotel for 2 nights from that day?

We are planning to visit on 4th - 6th August this year. At them moment I know there is availblity at most of the hotels

Also could anybody tell me whether there are discounts available at the moment on hotels still? I would need 2 rooms as we have 2 adults and 3 children this time.

If I did get an AP would I get a free child's AP for my 6 year old son? and then a discount on the other tickets?

Last question? Would it be possible to get sponsership for my AP if I decided to go ahead?

Thanks and sorry for such alot of questions!

You can't combine the free AP with the family discount (family of 5) I'm afraid, and I'm struggling to remember if you can combine the family discount with sponsorship....sure someone will be along to answer that bit soon.
You could buy 1 adult AP and get your 6 yr old's free, then get sponsorship from someone on here for the other passes.
I would have thought it very unlikely you'd be able to to get rooms on the day in August, since its the busiest season - unfortunately the only way to find out is to wait and see! This is always the problem when buying APs - you can't buy Disney hotels room only but you don't want the package. This is why people generally stay offsite when buying APs for the first time. You could try Explorers - they can accomodate a family of 5 in one room.

Thanks for the answers. I was only planning on getting 1 adult pass and the free one for my 6 year old. The other three I would use the AP discount to buy the tickets.

Checked Explorers, but it is full, however all the other hotels except the Santa Fe have availablity at the moment.

Going to have to weigh up wether it's worth the risk or not on getting the room.

If you're going for the "buy 1 get 1 under 7 free" unfortunately you can't combine it with sponsorship too.

I don't think if I'd be brave enough to take the risk regarding the rooms :scared: but good luck to you :thumbsup2 and here's some pixiedust: to help.

Yeh not sure if I'm brave enough either! We end up debating whether or not to buy the AP each time we go, but each time we like to stay onsite, so at some point we going to have to make a choice about the AP's :confused3
