What is a "preview weekend"?? I've never heard of this....... :confused3

Do you think they might let random AP & DVC before then??? WE will be there Dec 31st - Jan. 16th????

Holy moley are you kidding? I've been hoping for a sneak peek of Everest so WOO dang HOO!!! :cool1:
Fingers crossed I'll be able to ride it. I'll be one month out from having had a hysterectomy so wish me luck.

We are going to be there on the 26. We had already planned that day for AK. I still can't believe it.

Very Cool... Thanks for posting the info. We are DVC members so this is exciting...I obviously can't ride (being 8 months pregnant by then) but I am sure hubby will be very excited about it.

Hi!
Are you sure that it included annual passholders? We are annual passholders, but not DVC members. Can you say who you got the email from? I'm sooo excited!! Thanks

My email was from DVC but they usually have it the same time, I will keep checking!!!

I haven't seen anything that said AP were included yet. I figure it is not too far off though if DVC is going in then.

We'll be a couple of weeks too early.

Holy crap!!!

I'm an AP holder - Our first day is January 28, and it's Animal Kingdom!!!

For anyone that has done the previews before, do they run all day or just specific times?

The past previews I've been to run all day each preview day.

I am SO excited about this one. I was going to make a special trip to the preview, but we already have a reservation that weekend. :Pinkbounc

So, what happens when regular visitors go up to the ride and want to get on? Does the CM just tell them "No"?

I'd feel bad for those people.

Yes. They check all passes before you're allowed to continue in.

I haven't received an email yet, but I hope the OP is right--we've been dying to check it out!

Yes they'll check their passes and turn them away. It's for their own safety. didn't you know that us AP holders are secretly just test dummies? I mean, we don't realize it but, when we buy the passes, we are sending secret signals to Disney that we are the soldiers willing to take the calculated risk. We are here for the common visitor to make sure their ride later in the year is safe and fun.

Us AP soldiers need to ride it multiple times, over and over during this time to make sure the ride will not be coming off of the track and is fun for all. This is a risk I am willing to take to ensure the future fun and safety for all.

AP holders unite..........this is a risk we have to take. Someone's gotta do it.

Woo hoo, our annual passes expire the 30th of January and we don't think we can renew at that time. So that totally works for me, the preview right before they expire, awsome! I forsee a quickie trip in my near future.... which is good considering my Dec 21st trip to see my little sister sing at the candlelight processional fell through :-(

We are dvc members and the e-mail said that they would even have fast passes for the preview.

I am an AP but did not get an email? :confused3 I am going February 9-14 so maybe I will get lucky and they will have an AP preview when I am there.
