My family of 5 will be spending a week at Disney this November for our first(!) trip. We are currently booked at Carribean but I am wavering between there and a suite at AoA for about $400 more. My kids ages are 4, 8 and 13. We are a So Cal family and have spent time at all the Disneyland hotels so I worry my expectations might be too high on what to expect since I think all of those are closer to a deluxe. Where would you stay between those options? Or should we just bite the bullet and spend $$$ on a deluxe? Thank you!

AoA for sure. We just came back from our 2nd trip there. Wife, myself and two college age children (well adults now.. lol).. You will really love the extra space and the 2nd bedroom.

The food court there is one of the best and the pool is huge. The pool bar is nice and open till after midnight if you want to relax at night. We have tried the one room when they were a little younger and just too tight.

What is great is you get the main bedroom and bathroom, kids can use the sofa and pull down Murphy bed. Heck you get an air mattress in there if you want.

If you have not booked yet, we did both Nemo (more money) and Cars.. Don’t spend the money on Nemo and go Cars. there refillable mug station is also at pool on Cars side. The walk to the front and buses is close also with Cars..

Also, the furtnature
