Want to stay at a Skyliner hotel, all that is avaialble during our stay is AoA...would 4 be ok in the LM room or should we splurge for the Family Suite...it's just one night. My main concern is cleanliness and noise level I'm worried the LM rooms will be neither. Worth the extra $200 to move to a suite?

It may have just been pure luck, but we booked AoA for 1 night in a Little Mermaid room.. (We were checking into All Star Movies the following day and had added 1 day to our Disney stay) We got to AoA and they had booked us into a suite. I told the cast member when I was checking in "I didn't pay for a suite", to which she replied "I guess you got a free upgrade..." We were sitting at one of the Waterparks and were talking to a former cast member who said that she used to book the rooms and their screen is like a big game of tetris where they need to fit in all of the multi-night stays into the resort rooms, and 1 night reservations occasionally need to get bumped up to a suite so that they can make the rest of the multi-night stays fit.

... anyhow. To answer your question - the AoA suite was absolutely awesome. We parents had our own room, and each of the kids (aged 12/14) had their own bed.

If it came down to an AoA standard room vs Pop Century, I'd go for Pop! The Pop standard rooms have all been updated to queen size beds. The Little Mermaid rooms in AoA are just doubles... Pop will give you skyliner access with bigger beds than Little Mermaid rooms.

If you book and pay for a suite, there will be 3 sleeping surfaces.

Noise level will depend 100% on your neighbors, anywhere. Cleanliness concerns should absolutely be a non-issue.

I agree with this.

OP, I would price out two rooms vs. the suite. The LM rooms only have double beds or kings. Even for one night, I can't imagine 4 adults sleeping in one LM room.

We did one night with four adults in an ASMo room (pre-reno) and it was fine. I wouldn't want to do it long term, but perfectly do-able for just one night.

Unfortunately, there arent' any POP or add'l LM rooms available so it's either 1 LM or the Family Suite. DH agrees we can make do for one night and doesn't want to pay for the family suite... now we're up all night with our 2 teenage sons fighting over the sheets/blanket that will be a different story. LOL

Thank for the vote of confidence on cleanliness. Noise level... I'll bring Nyquil just in case...the slamming doors always seems worse in the exterior door hotels!

Weird. I have always had the opposite experience. The slamming doors seems worse at the Deluxes with the interior doors...
Guess the PP was right - it just depends on your neighbors!!

Air mattress plus coin flip. Or ask housekeeping for a second set of linens (and then maybe line up your luggage down the middle of the bed?)
