I'm looking to see if there's anywhere selling 3 day park hoppers (no plus). I'm helping my friend at work and my sisters plan trips and think the 3 day park hoppers would work best for all. I know the Mousesavers email for Ticketmania has the 3 day +, but I don't think they'll have time to use the plus on these trips.

I've dealt with Ticketmania, so I trust their site. Are the other sites out there selling tickets as trustworthy and reliable?

Hi Sue  A couple weeks ago, on the Budget Board, they had a site posted that sells them. I'll go check and see if I can find it...found it! Central Florida Travel 1-888-678-8899 sells 3 day hoppers for $155. Ticketmania 1-877-822-7299 has 3 day plus hoppers for $175. I know Ticketmania has free shipping and tax is included, don't know about the other company. It may be cheaper to go with the 3 day plus. Good luck!:D

Okay, I'm confused.

These tickets are for real???

Disney does not sell 3 day park hoppers, but someone else does?

How can that be? Disney allows this? I'm not being critical of you guys. I'm just looking for some explanations.

Ticketmania is a reliable ticket broker that sometimes has ticket options not available at Disney. These could include a 3 day hopper, a 3 day hopper with 1 plus, a 4 day hopper with a plus, or sometimes even a 5 day hopper with 4 options! Disney doesn't allow these to be advertised so sometimes you have to call for availability. Wal-mart vacations, and Florida Orlando Tickets also have had the 5 day hopper plus 4. Lately Central Florida travel has had the 3 day hopper without any options.

I hope that helps, CRB#33

They are indeed for real and perfectly legitimate if bought from an official reseller - as long as you stay away from those roadside vendors that (illegally) sell partially used tix, you should be fine - at least I have never heard of major problems.

As for why Disney is doing this... who knows, the Mouse works in strange ways ;)

How do you get the 3-day passes from TicketMania? I went to their website and it wasn't listed. Do you need to call?

You need to call or be on the Mousesavers Newsletter e-mail list to get those offers for 3 day hoppers or any of their special sales. It's against the rules to post how to get the info but go to Mousesavers and sign up. The newsletter goes out every 15th of the month - so Friday we'll see the next one.

I just bought 8 of the 3-day no plus passes for $155 each from Central Florida Travel. They were delivered promptly and are similar to the longer passes I have bought from Disney in the past. I am told that the reason that these tickets are available is because they are "convention" tickets made available to people in Orlando for large conventions rather than specifically for WDW. The ones sold by the ticket brokers are "overflow" and that's why they are not always available.
