Anything change at US since 1997?

Last time I was at Universal Studios most of it was boarded up & under construction. What I am wondering is both parks can be done without a mad rush in 2 days? We could care less for the rides like Terminater I, II, III or whatever its called now. We are more coaster types than anything & there was not a one to ride in "97" (really disapointing). I am planning on getting the 2 + 3 free ticket deal but are planning 2 days at the US complex.

Terminator II 3-d movie is actually very well done. In fact everything needs to be tried once and can be done in 2 days.

Of course everything at IOA has been added sicne 1997, here's a quick list for Universal Studios (besides T-2 3D and KidZone)

Twister (special effects show, love-it or hate-it for most people, personally, I love it)

Jimmy Neutron simulator (repalced Hanna Barbera)

Shrek 4D Movie

Men in Black (Spinning dark ride that is a ride through shooting gallery)

Revenge of the Mummy (coaster that replaced Kong)

Edited to add IOA rides you may be interested in:

At IOA, you'll be sure to like Hulk Coaster and Duleing Dragons, but you can't miss the Spider-man ride.

Once again, everything is worth trying once, going in with a narrow-minded attitude (only like coaster-type thrills) can often dampen the overall experience.

Yes, everything can be done in two days.

Since you are coaster fanatics, you'll probably spend more time at IOA.

USF has the Mummy, which is fun. The coaster part is short, so you'll have to go on it a few times.

Heh, it may be easier to ask what's the SAME since 1997, it is VERY different than it was back then, you almost may not recognize it (in a good way)

i think rotm(revenge of the mummy) is the best ride in universal studios so that would be a must at universal the coaster part may be short but the special effects are amazing.

Maybe its been too long ago. I thought the T-2 was one of those rides that you get 12 - 15 in a car type thing. Sort of like a simulator. In either case we are far from being narrow minded but how do you ask about someplace you have never been to :confused3 from all the changes I see online?

I live 20 minutes from Paramounts Kings Island in Ohio. You don't find that many coasters in one park this small. It's about the size of the old US with I believe 8 coasters.

Nope...T2:3-D is more like a show, with live actors. You all sit in an theater-type room while wearing 3-d goggles. :) Depending on the actors especially, it can be a really good show. I enjoyed the show the best in the front row, FYI.

Have fun at Universal and IOA! I think you'll find yourself enjoying what they have to offer nowadays.
