As a hobby, I've written a few children's books. I think one of them has potential, if I do say so myself.
It's been a dream of mine to be published, but--unless you're a celebrity or an established author--it's pretty hard to get anyone to even look at your work.
In the 1.5 years I've been on the DIS, you guys have helped me plan a trip, gotten me a great deal on some 19" Mickey TVs, given me awesome recipes, and provided a distraction from my laundry. So, I figured, why not see if someone here can help me fulfill my dream.
Anyone have connections in the world of children's book publishing? I would love to talk with someone who could determine if the book has potential.
