Anyone win with the JCPenney button code?

I received 2 buttons one day and enter them to have one a loser and one a winner of a $10 certificate.

My next 2 buttons that I received were one loser and one winner of a single serve Keurig! Will be mailed to me.

I tried to re-enter a code as one PP mentioned but it did not work.

All four times I was immediately notified whether my code was a winner or not and for the two that were winners I received my email right away, in my regular email inbox.

Thanks for telling us about the second chance drawing as I did not know about it. Will be sending that email today.

a few of mine said already used -- I wonder if some employees are using the buttons and putting them back in the bin.

I went tonight with DH and the lady was pretty rude and said only one PER FAMILY. So she gave us one button. That was after we told her two of the buttons from last week had already been used.

Employees can't enter. I work in a smaller jcp, and we are almost out of buttons. The bigger jcp near me has been out for about a week. I had been putting all the different designs on a pad on top of my counter as customers were coming in looking for certain designs, but had to stop doing this-I had quite a few people take every single button! I always told people to take a couple. I'm not sure when "a couple" become 50-60.

There is no purchase necessary. Just ask an employee at any register.

There is a code on the back of the button. You can enter the code into the JCP website using your phone and then you check your email to see if you won. You have to then accept the prize within a certain amount of time (24 hours?) and if it's a certificate it will be emailed to you the next day. You can use the certificate on your phone, they'll just enter the certificate number into the register.

The same thing happened to me. I got three buttons and two of them came up as already used.

sorry people are getting rude employees. I know the stores are running out of buttons, and most places will probably be out before the 24th. As far as codes already being used , who knows. In my store employees can't enter codes. We were given different buttons before the promotion started and were entered in an employee drawing.

Probably 3 out of my 8 most recent buttons came up used. Employees aren't allowed to enter, but their friends, family, etc... prob aren't restricted.

My hubby asked the guys in the shoe dept for buttons - they said 2 ladies had come in.... one asked for shoes... after they went back to look, they said never mind... the guys came back out and the women had taken their bowl of buttons!

Won two $10's and a $5 yesterday. I had to go through alot of buttons for find some that worked (we do 2 a day for me and 2 a day for my DH).

Went to JCP yesterday and they are out of buttons also.

I think I got 45 different button styles - never got all 50.

Did anyone else find the hidden penguin button at their local JCP this morning? I found the one at my JCP. It was on a mannequin at the front of the store underneath the puffy jacket it had on (pinned to the sweater).

I can now say I have a complete set of buttons!!

As it got closer to the end of the promotion, the frequency of the winning buttons dropped dramatically. A couple of days ago I had one winner out of 15 buttons. Made me think that it may not be the button code itself that is winning, but randomly generated winning emails. So the closer they get to the end, the less prizes are left and the less chance of any button being a winner. Don't know if it's true or not, just a thought.

I was thinking the same thing about the random generated prizes. In the beginning I was racking them up and now it takes forever to get a winner. I was able to get 1 of each buttons and won $260! I love this promo, gonna be sad to see it go lol.

penneys told DH that he could combine certificates to spend.

I thought we had to spend them separately.

Anyone combine yours to spend?

The certificates say "one per transaction" which I interpreted as meaning you could only use one at a time, so I never even tried to stack them. It does seem that it depends on the cashier you get though.
