and really Courtney is not pretty, her face is always shily and oily on tv, the hair parted down the middle all scraggly...many of the other girls are much prettier than her...ever her voice is annoying.
I loved when Emily said he was not the kind of man she'd want to be with. It shows HER character...
I do wish we lived near each other, so we could have a Finale Viewing Party. I'm going to feel weird yelling at the TV by myself.
I'll be watching & posting to this thread, though! Darn Ben, Courtney & their shenanigans have dragged me back in.

I wonder of Courtney's skan...er I mean skinny dipping has changed the face of The Bachelor forever? Not so much the Bachelorette, but the Bachelor. Now the bar is raised. The horizontal cha-cha will be expected by the Bachelors and some of the girls might feel pressure to pony up or get the boot. Pretty soon the girls will have to wear pasties and thongs to the first night, just to get a chance to talk to the Bachelor.
....I would love to have a producers tell all episode just so they can be asked if this is how they would like their daughters or sisters to be exploited.
I have always wondered who thought up the concept for this show and did they wing it the first season, working out details as they went along, like how much wine and champagne will be enough, the one on one dates, group dates, oops we need more alcohol and death defying stunts and yet again more alcohol is needed etc. Did they watch how things were going and then decide to try and see what would happen if they offered the "suite that you can share as a couple" and then when some of the girls said yes, did the executives look at each other and say "wow these girls are more desperate than we thought"

There was a show where they talked to the producer!!! It was a short 20/20 thing I think. He was a real low key boring looking, monotone sounding guy. He got the idea from that millionaire bachelor show where a nurse married a really creepy guy. He admitted to the alcohol, casting the crazies, the extreme sports dating, anything for entertainment sake, etc. He seemed to have the attitude like, can you believe it, it's so easy to get them to behave like this, and who doesn't want to watch all the fun, and then if there happens to be real romance, even better. They also interviewed the girl who Jason dumped for Molly afterwards and she explained how she got wrapped up in the whole psycho desperate wanting to win thing...if all these other girls think he's Mr. Wonderful, but he likes me more, then I have to have him! She said she wouldn't have dated Jason in the real world. I also heard somewhere, maybe this show, that there's no tv, they're not allowed to read, no outside contact, so all they do is think about and talk about the bachelor and themselves which is the perfect environment for unhealthy obsessing.I'll try to find the interviews.
I dunno...
I think the skinny dipping was a desparate attempt to get ratings and buzz for the most UNDENIABLY worse Bachelor season of all time. And it worked, at least the BUZZ part did.
If they had a hot cast worth watching and worth cheering for they wouldn't have to dig down to the bottom of the barrel for excitement.![]()
