The more I think about it, the more i think he didn't have a real emotional connection with any of them. It was clear on his dates with his inability to hold a meaningful conversation and his quickness in turning to the physical aspects of dating. And it was clear from the fact the the one woman he was the most attached to was Courtney who he was intamate with. He wasn't connecting emotionally, so he latched on to the one connection he did have, the physical one.

Yes and whoever said that last night nailed it (no pun intended). Once he had sex obviously the only thing on his mind was more sex. And then of course Chris congratulated her for being so smart about men. Chris makes me sick too, I don't know how he can deliver some of his lines without laughing but he obviously got in bed with the producers a long time ago in that he is above nothing when it comes to landing ratings.

Regardless, she's clearly on the WTA special for one of two reasons:

1. Damage control because Ben was foolish enough to pick her

or

2. Damage control because she wants to be on the Bachelor Pad and milk her 15 minutes for all it's worth.


Either way, she's only doing damage control because it's affecting her image. The girls were right about her from day one and I don't see how she can sit there and see all that footage of how awful she behaved and not be ashamed. What's even worse was that she tried to excuse it all because she didn't have a manual for how to deal with being on the show. Ya, sure.

Or, 3. Damage Control because this has affected her (non-)modeling career. Really what offers would be pouring in for the person people hate so much?

I also don't think that a narcissist can feel ashamed. I think what she sees when she watches the show is that she is a VICTIM of what happened. That the other girls schemed to make her look bad, and purposely didn't get along with her, as they KNEW she was so wonderful & would win Ben.

I think, when she looks at the video clips of her saying, "kill shot," she still doesn't see anything wrong.She was just playing around and WINNING! That it is everyone else who misunderstood her and is turning it into something ugly. Creating a bad situation for her & her family & friends.

Courtney's goal all along has been to get her picture on the cover of People magazine. She wants as much PR as possible. IF she is the "winner", she'll fake "happy couple in love" for a couple of months. When the PR dies down, she'll dump Ben faster than you can blink. If she met Ben in "real life", she'd pay attention to him.

Yes, but she wasn't expecting such a negative backlash. I bet she was hoping for people fawning over her and wanting to be her. She's on as a hated, selfish, narcissistic, shallow, mean woman. This is one the where negative publicity is not better than no publicity.

Wow, watching that back again, it was really uncalled for. Very childish and rude, calling Shawntel names and criticizing her based on her body type. I felt terrible for her when it orginally aired and now I feel doubly sorry for her since the women didn't seem all that apologetic. Geez.

I thought Chantal was very classy in the way she handled herself last night. She could have been all over those girls.

I got the feeling that Ben might possibly be looking to reconnect with some of those he let go if they are for it.

I think that's a fairly accurate depiction of how she feels. The girls even called her out on the fact that she apologized to Ben and was sorry for Ben for her behavior, not them. She doesn't give a hoot what these girls think, only how it's affecting her and her family/friends. Yup. Though I haven't really seen any tabloid covers lately with her on them. I doubt Courtney would end up on Bachelor Pad. She has her sights a lot higher, I truly think she is just crazy enough to think her exposure on this show will bring her to A-list super model status. There was nothing sincere about her apology last night, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that.

Although it would be funny to see her on there with all the other crazy knock-offs of the Bachelor Pad. You've got that nutty Erica with the tiara leading the pack of crazies, then Michelle Money trying to pretend like she is classy but we all know otherwise, Ed who was a cheater on Jillian, the woman whoever she was who thinks Ed will be good in bed - add Courtney to that mix and that might be an entertaining trainwreck to watch over the summer.

BTW on that BP segment was that Vienna's Kasey sucking face with someone? I assume he and Vienna broke up but I had not heard that. I saw them in some tabloid recently supposedly still in love, on the beach somewhere.

Also, speaking of tabloids, Courtney has been on the cover of US for 3 weeks straight. We have a subscription so I've seen it 3 weeks straight but have not read it since I don't like spoilers. She is in a bikini on every cover. She is loving all the exposure and will be milking it for as long as she can.

I thought the Batchelor Pad was just a waste of time. When Chris said in the beginning that we would get to see what some of the past players were up too, I was hoping for how they are now, not BP.

Yeah, I think he has some deep socialization issues. He admitted to Courtney he didn't feel much before. He doesn't know how to really READ people because he is so dissociated. He really thought Courtney was genuine???

The only thing she was genuine about was doing damage control to serve herself.

Either he is so in love, that he is blinded by her and in denial. Or he is so in lust with her, and he is in denial. Or he is really very emotionally immature and doesn't know how to read people. Or he has been very dissociated emotionally & doesn't know how to read people.

This just in! It appears that Nikki was previously living in a very strict convent where the women were not allowed to ever see men. She only recently departed and has only met one man in her entire life. Since the show aired she's met other men and her opinion has drastically changed.

I hope so, too. But probably some are hoping to be asked to be a Bachelorette someday, and they think bad-mouthing the current Bachelor may work against them, so they will be wimpy about Ben instead of telling the truth.
