Anyone watching Ben the Bachelor tonight? - NO SPOILERS PLEASE

I would bet anything that Kacie is the next Bachelorette, after Emily of course.

Well, it goes without saying but Ben is a complete fool. It's clear which organ he makes all of his dating decisions with.:sad2:

I wonder how he's feeling now, watching the season and seeing Courtney and how she truly interacted with all of these women. If he did pick her, you just know that she'll spin it to her advantage. But if he picks Lindzi, I hope she leaves him.

I really hope it's not Kacie. She doesn't have the emotional fortitude. I would like to see Emily, or maybe Lyndsie if Ben doesn't pick her (which I think is likely).

I agree, Kacie would be a "hot mess" (that's what she said to Ben in his hotel room after she freaking stalked him all the way to Switzerland!). She's far too emotional for the Bachelorette experience.

I'd love to see Lindzi as the next one, if Ben doesn't choose her. I kind of thought that he'd choose Courtney all along but he seems pretty smitten with Lindzi so who knows!

Looking forward to the Women Tell All next week.:thumbsup2

Are ratings for this season down? I know they used to announce the DWTS line up on The Bacelor, but this time they are doing it on GMA (tomorrow).

My instinct tells me he won't care about what he sees. It will just make her more of a trophy. To me he is like the unpopular pimple faced middle school boy that is chasing the mean girl cheerleader. Her nastiness to other girls just makes him feel more important

I remember him saying he didn't have very many relationships. He's kind of emotionally right where he would be. He says he wants a deep relationship, but he doesn't have enough experience to know what one is, or that HE'D have to put more into one.

He also keeps saying he wants an independent woman. But, it's just an idea in his head. Look at the way Courtney keeps talking baby talk to him, he laps up being the strong one with a girl dependent and fawning all over him.

Same with Lindzi. The producers set up those death defying situations to force her to feel dependent with Ben. He really doesn't want an independent woman.

In fact, when Courtney keeps saying how she could leave, she lost the feeling, whatever, he gets upset & tries to win her back.

What a perfect analogy!

He is pretty immature. I think you're right, his experience is very limited in the dating arena. Maybe that's why he's so awkward and a loud, smacking kisser!

I said that too. He says he wants a strong, independent woman yet he is completely smitten with Courtney and her childish ways. He doesn't know what he wants and it's clear, based on the two women he has left.

Same with Lindzi. The producers set up those death defying situations to force her to feel dependent with Ben. He really doesn't want an independent woman.

I agree. Lindzi is very laid back and comfortable with herself and her independence. Ben wants a girl that "needs" his protection.

In fact, when Courtney keeps saying how she could leave, she lost the feeling, whatever, he gets upset & tries to win her back.

Oh, she played that perfectly! Here all of the other women are tripping over themselves to get Ben and all she has to do is say she has doubts and considered leaving.

Yes, Magic Mom got it right. :thumbsup2 Ben, both in emotional maturity level and physical experience level is an unpopular pimple faced middle school boy.

If Courtney is the one that Ben picks, then I think she has already set the foundation for her "unhappiness" and their break-up by saying that she needs him to have trusted her during this or whatever she said.

I'm sure the producers said "Hey, how about a trip to Switzerland to warn Ben about Courtney!" It's become the thing now on that show, to have someone come back. This season, Kacie "won" that role.

OMG, this is SO it, in a nutshell...the whole story, right there.

Imho, Kacie is a loose cannon. She proved just how young and inexperienced she is by flying across the Atlantiic Ocean for a 5 minute explanation from Ben. "Hello, your family is crazy and apparently you are too!"

....I think. I just. threw. up. in. my. mouth. a. little.

Ben is clearly unexperienced.;) It's like Magic Mom said, he's the geeky pimple faced boy who wants the mean cheerleader!

That's true. Last time it was that scumbag Bentley who slinked back to see Ashley. Now it's Kacie. She was over the top dramatic though, lying on the hallway floor. Weird.

I bet the producers built it up to her to be a lot more. Like she might have still had a chance. They'd be willing to put her back into the competition. Yada. Especially if she told about how Courtney actually is and he decides to give her the boot. But, when Ben opened the door and he didn't sweep her up in his arms, she knew the best she could hope for was an explanation.

I'd have to wash my hair after lying on the floor. :crazy2:

My big question is why they picked Ben as the Bachelor? Was he that popular at the end of last season? Sure, I felt sorry for him but I'm ready to see a Bachelor(ette) that new to us, not someone that's already been on the show as a cast off.

Are they having trouble finding eligible men to be the Bachelor?

"No, this is me in a nutshell! Help! I'm in a nutshell!"

I think the point of Ben was to get someone "regular". Not super model handsome like Brad or Jake, just a regular sort of nerdy type guy. Which could have been a lot of fun. The problem is that Ben just isn't at all interesting. Or interested. Every conversation he has is painful to watch, even those with Courtney. He seems incapable of any emotion or even feigning any interest in conversation. Last night when Nicki was telling him how much she loved him, and he kept nodding his head? I was so uncomfortable watching that, I can only imagine how it felt to be her. How any of them could have fallen in love with him is beyond me.
