Anyone watching Ben the Bachelor tonight? - NO SPOILERS PLEASE

I thought it was strange they didn't show them meeting his family.

I thought the gals meet his parents in the last episode, right before the Bachelor makes the decision?

Remember, it's a 2 hour show. He only takes 10 minutes deciding on which one.

I remember they brought Brad's family down to see him in S. Africa. He cried that they made the trip all that way for him. That was telling right there.

But, dodo me, I didn't pay as much attention to HIS reactions to his family as I should have. I do remember how the SIL couldn't wait to have playdates with little Ricki and have her & Emily fit right into their lives. Their reactions are what ultimately made up Brad's mind. He desperately, desperately wants his family's approval.

It's too bad the parents won't have seen all that we have seen, when they meet up with Ben. It would be wonderful to see his mother say, "What were you thinking?"

it would also be great to see a "Parents Tell All" episode, where the parents have watched all season, and say what they think of Ben and their daughters all behaving the way they are. :headache: :lmao:

I will miss the end until I can watch online - heading to Hawaii on Monday - Aloha and enjoy everyone!

What an excuse. :sad2: ;)

Have a great time! :teeth: I have often thought most vacations should be in winter. Why are we traveling around in the heat of summer? We need warm vacations in WINTER!

I am so happy tomorrow is Monday (I almost never say that!). I had one of the longest, most difficult weeks of my life, and I need me some trashy reality TV and a glass of wine to escape! What better than the Women Tell All? I can't wait!

Seriously, as much as I criticize the show (which is part of the appeal), it really is the escape that I look forward to. It is my only trashy TV that I watch. Everything else I watch is high-brow and snooty. <Insert Brick's whisper here.... "I'm lying.">

:rotfl: Best line I've seen in a long time!

I think that's why Brad can't commit - he doesn't trust anyone, because he doesn't feel loved and accepted by his own family. It would be good if the parents had some insight, but then if they are emotionally distant, would they step up and help or would they just sit back and wait for him to fail again? :confused3

Yes, I agree. A Winter vacation is a much needed break. Although when I move to AZ, I'm thinking a Summer escape will be in order! I'll have a Mai Tai for you!!!

Speaking of trashy tv, is anyone going to watch the premiere of GCB tonight?

Well,
If you're Good,
If you're Christian,
If your a ...........:rolleyes1

I love Kristen Chenowith and like Annie Potts, and since it bumped Pan Am which I liked, why not?

As someone else stated, that's the last episode. What I find odd is that they showed previews of the last episode without showing even a passing snippet or mention of any of his family members. Anyone remember anything about Ashley meeting his family on the Bachelorette? :confused3
I sure am. She sends me messages everyday to let me know how she's feeling. She's been getting a lot of Braxton Hicks and some that she says seem different. She's due the 18th, but we all know it gets to a point where that date doesn't matter so much. I'm due to leave here on the 12th, but I figure I better get things in order here just in case I have to bug out early. I have a feeling she is going to go early. :yay:
We were SO unprepared for my DD to go 9 days early. There were times from the day she went into labor, to the day they came home from the hospital, that we were like an I Love Lucy episode.

I remembered it was the 18th! I'll be looking for updates. :yay:

...his decision was made when he went SKINNY-DIPPING, honey....popcorn::

....his 'Lil' Ben' made the decision for him [perhaps Courtney calls it 'BIG Ben']...popcorn::

I'm hoping that during TWTA, they (especially Kacie) will say something like, "After watching the show, I don't want to be with the type of guy who wants to be with a woman like Courtney. Glad he sent me home." Instead of the usual, "I still love him, I don't know what happened, I never got closure", etc.

Come on ladies, step it up and finally make the bachelor look like the fool that he is! popcorn::

I hope so, too. But probably some are hoping to be asked to be a Bachelorette someday, and they think bad-mouthing the current Bachelor may work against them, so they will be wimpy about Ben instead of telling the truth.

I don't want to see any of them as the Bachelorette. I'd like to see someone new.

I wonder if we will be able to tell by Courtney's behavior if Ben picked her or not?

My husband thinks that he'll do like Brad did on his first season and not pick either one. Wouldn't it be a hoot if neither one said yes?

Here we go!
