Anyone watching Ben the Bachelor tonight? - NO SPOILERS PLEASE

I love, love, Emily, but I really think she needs to find the new love of her life in the more traditional way.

Ditto. Is she going to be making out with one guy after another? What about those overnight dates? I don't believe that EVERYONE has sex in the Fantasy Suite, but if she puts herself in the situation to suspect that's what's going on, what about her daughter?

Here I go again...analyzing the rights and wrongs of The Bachelor/ette.

She's probably going to say the same thing she said to Brad, they are only going upstairs to TALK without all the cameras.

Duh! I forgot about I read she was the next one! I have to say the most interesting thing to us about her was her connection to the Hendricks NASCAR family. Sigh....I think I am throwing in the towel too.

I think so too. I think it will add an interesting twist. She has to sort through all the guys who want her for her daughter's money and to live in that huge mansion with them.

Then you have the ones who will be intimidated by it all. Remember how Brad . . . deflated when he sat in her house? Couldn't even kiss her.

Plus, she has this sweetness about her, that she says she doesn't really have. We'll see if she wants to come out with a new image, and how the guys react to her. Is she going to be kissing all of them, or is she going to be the first prudish Bachelorette?


I just can't believe she's going to be putting her daughter though all that publicity & scrutiny. She said it was weird for them to be out in public & people staring at her all the time. It made her daughter uncomfortable. Why would she put her DD through all that again?

I really did believe Emily was trying to do the right thing by protecting her daughter and being so cautious in the past, but now seeing that she will be the next bachelorette, I do believe it's more about the limelight and less about love...come on, they all know the chances of a true love lasting relationship this way are slim...with her family connections and status there has to be some great guys for her to legit. meet. It will really be interesting! I may be eating my words...

Good grief, Emily? Really? While I liked her on Brad's season, I can't imagine how she thinks this process would be good for daughter. I'm pretty surprised, especially after the timid way she acted on the show. Does she understand that these guys will want to get to know her? I think she was soooo emotionally closed off on the show that I simply can't see her as a bachelorette. This might prove to be the most awkward bachelor season ever. Well, when you say it like that! I'd have to agree. Ashley was worse then watching paint dry. Ben, he's robotic and dull. Emily does have loads more personality than those two.

Don't get me wrong, Emily is beautiful. I was just surprised because of her protectiveness regarding her little girl.

Wow Emily is the new bachelorette and Bentley is considering coming back. Nice. Honestly if he ever comes back I will stop watching. Enough is enough. At some point you have to make a stand. I stopped watching the trainwreck that is the Kardashians, I can stop watching the Bachelor/ette franchise. It's a hard habit to give up but if I stick to the 12-steps I think I can do it.

Emily the picker! You know, if the show actually had better odds of long lasting relationships, I'd be more inclined to say go for it. But, it's like .02 percent or something ridiculous of the couple staying together and getting married.

That drove me batty! Ashley totally exuded a lack of confidence that entire season, no wonder three of the guys went home on their own. Emily seems more self assured but I hope she's not as reserved as last time.

Maybe she will bring some class to the show. It will be great if she finds another Ryan, the way Trista found one. But, these days, it seems people only want to be on the show for the publicity. I doubt she will find anyone lasting.
