WOW.

What a spoiled rotten brat that blonde woman is! I was shocked to see her acting the way that she did in the Biggins home. "I don't feel like cooking, I don't cook. Run up to the store and get me something."

I hope that Mrs. Biggins can take the rich lady's $50,000 and donate it to charity, 'cause she sure doesn't need the money!

My husband and I watched the last 30 minutes. How many episodes are there with these 2 families?

We, too, were appalled at the blond's behavior. Talk about rude woman. :( I was very sad for her children after her son said my mom never does this stuff with me. :(

I KNOW! I really hadn't planned on watching this show, but curiosity got the best of me! I wish we could've seen more of how they behaved in their own homes so we could see if it was the same when they switched. I bet she is so used to Nana doing everything that she never has to. I can't even imagine going into someone else's home and acting that way. And I can just see how she is going to spend their money. She is going to buy them a nutritionist and a personal trainer and maybe put some in a college fund. So far that's all it sounds like she cares about.

I'm watching it now, I'm on the west coast.... HOLY CRAP that one house is HUGE!! I wouldn't know what to do with myself in a place like that, I could live in that closet alone! :smooth:

I think that Mrs Biggins should make the family send Nana on a very expensive vacation with the 50,000. She's earned it with all the cooking and cleaning she does!

Nana rocks! ;)

I agree. I wish Nana would step up and not let this rude woman use her as a housekeeper.

It appears each family switch will have 2 episodes. Not sure how many families they plan on doing.

That house was unreal. "Oh, we can buy a boat now for our lake home with that $50,000." PLEASE have them donate to charity or SOMETHING! It appears the blonde wasn't pleased with how it was spent by the look on her face when she read the paper in the spoiler for next week.

Did anyone notice that the only kids that did any work around the houses were the Biggins? They showed them cooking, dusting, and sweeping. They never showed the other kids doing any chores.

I loved Nana. I'm 36 and there's no way I could survive her work out. I was exhausted just watching her.

OMG that Tammy woman is a lazy pain in the butt! I can't believe she just sat there moaning about how hungry she was, did NOTHING except whine and whine and whine and then say she brings "positivism" to the house!!!

For those of you that missed this last week there is a re-broadcast on tonight at 8:00 and then the new episode is on tomorrow night at 8:00- ENJOY :)

DH and I watched it last night. (We recorded it). That Tammy lady is a piece of work.  I wanted to slap her.

I really like Mrs. Biggins. She seems like she's a very sweet, caring lady. :)

My DH said the same thing about giving Nana the $50,000 so she could have a nice vacation. :)

A few of us watched it right now. Wow, my little ds whole bedroom would fit in that ladys walk in closet. My ds did like the pool of the one house. But my kids know, money does not buy happiness. Love is what makes a family a family. I think you can see that with the Biggins family. If everything is handed to you, then you don't appreciate anything. I felt bad when the other boy said that his mom would never sit and do a puzzle with him.

My daughter said she was glad she didn't have Tammy for a mother. I couldn't believe she had that little boy in the closet to flip the breaker while she was drying her hair. I did love Nana.

I'm SO curious to watch tomorrow and see what they pick for each other's families.

I'm hoping Mrs. Biggens has them give all the money to Nana. My house isn't that big but I'd love to have Nana come live with me--and Mela was really sweet.

I also couldn't believe how rude Tammy was. I couldn't imagine going to someone else's house and telling them they needed to go get me something to eat then complain about everything they had. Get off your big ole hiney and do it yourself!

::yes:: I won't get home from work until after midnight, so I'll have to wait until then to watch...the horror! :faint: :)

I just watched the re-broadcast last night...unbelievable.

And where doesTammy get off lecturing Amela's daughter about her weight/what she eats? Has she looked at her son recently? (I don't mean to be rude...granted I dont' know the whole story, but her son Niko isn't exactly the poster child for 11 year old fitness.)

I REALLY hope Amela has the family give the money to charity or to Nana...Nana is the one that runs that house...did you see how SHOCKED she was to see Amela up so early?

the coffee and hairdryer things just FLOORED me...where did they FIND this woman?!

I watched the first episode last night (the repeat) and I must agree with everyone here that Tammy is being quite rude at the Biggins house.

But, (don't flame me please) in her defense I have to say that it would be a LOT easier to go live in luxury with a Nana to do all the work and be taken out to eat at expensive restaurants then it would be to go live in what must seem like poverty to Tammy. The producers knew this would be an interesting and controversial idea. They knew that taking a woman who is used to a life of relative leisure, with a maid, a cook, and money to do what she pleases most of the day and plunking her down in a modest home with a family that watches its pennies would make for interesting tv.

That being said, I think Tammy still should have the breeding and class to exhibit some restraint in the rude things that she was saying to the family. She should have kept quiet and practiced the "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all" theory.

No flames - you're 100% right.
Maybe Tammy will appreciate Nana a bit more when she gets home.

Positivism? Is that even a word???
Maybe she should take her own advice and go to college! :p

I thought this show was a riot! when Nana made the comment that she has made a new friend, I thought I bet she wishes this one would live with them and let the other family keep the blonde.

It was funny to hear the blonde talk about how well she could speak and she made so many "bad choices" when it cqame to her own grammer....

Curious to see how this ends...
